[ Scraps nodded quietly, her face sorrowful. ]
VEE :: I'm noticing a pattern.
SPROUT :: Let's ask around... maybe the mist was a coincidence.
SHELLY :: We need to get to the bottom of this or Gardenview will become a ghost town..!
DANDY :: Let's split up. Astro, please dreamwalk, try to connect to the missing toons. Shelly and Sprout, you're on socializing, Vee, look into the cameras around Gardenview, I'm going to put out a notice for those who don't already know.

VEE :: I did see him getting caught in the fog alongside others. Tisha and Teagan were also lost to it.
DANDY :: ...I see... Astro, do you have anything..?
ASTRO :: I saw plently of openings that were just... mist. I visited Finn's dream, but I woke up before I could get answers...
DANDY :: Hm... very well then! I'm going to go find them!
[ Dandy suddenly began marching towards the fog in the distant, Pebble rushing to him and pulling his leg, growling. ]
VEE :: Dandy, you can't be serious! They're probably gone for good, if you're lost to it, Gardenview is doomed.
DANDY :: "Probably" Is the reason we need to search! What if they're okay but can't get out? We need to find them!
ASTRO :: [ Approaches, standing besides him. ] If you're going in, I'll follow.
SPROUT :: [ Taken aback momentarily, but follows. ] I am as well!

[ Everyone stares at Vee expectingly. ]
VEE :: It'd be stupid for us all to go, I'm staying behind and so should some of you.

[ They step into the fog, walking around for what feels like eternity, stopping at a log for a rest. ]

DANDY :: [ Begins to stir, starting to wake up. ] Huh..?
??? :: Good morning! You two were out like LIGHTS!

[ Camera pan, revealing a cloud-like toon, floating about. ]

DANDY :: Mist, what you're doing is bad! These toons have been gone for days but to them its only been a few hours! Their friends miss them-- I miss them!
[ Dandy slams his fists on the table. Mist appears clueless, tilting her head. ]

DANDY :: You're... you're a danger--
[ Before Dandy could finish, he suddenly disappeared into thin air. ]

[ Astro stared at the empty space with shock, shifting uncomfortably before his view shifted to her. ]

[ Frame focuses on his blanket, Astro trembling as the fabric tightens for comfort. ]

[ Soon, there were screams. Astro looked outside and everyone was sinking, the clouds beneath them no longer supporting their weights, everyone was falling. ]

MIST :: ...Your words are annoyingly Persuasive. I... guess it is time I left everyone go.
[ Mist turns away, a tear falling. Astro looks down and notices his magic isn't supportive anymore. ]

ASTRO :: You can still redeem yourself, But please... keep the city standing... it'll... they'll all fall if you don't...
[ The cloud city which was previously falling apart, reformed, became stable. ]

[ Mist stood, walking out the door with Astro trailing behind, all the toons gathered and concerned. A fog surrounded them, Astro watching with interest. ]

[ Astro held curiosity, howeved Mist grew defensive. ]
MIST :: ...I didn't mean to pull them in the dome--!!
DANDY :: The dome? [ Dandy asked, coming from the background. ]
MIST :: Do you mind?! ...Sorry. Uhm, the dome is the forest you walked around. Toons can easily end up there if they can't navigate it. I merely take them in to rest or locate their destination. So, yes, I do control the fog.
DANDY :: Hm... well it's okay! It's hard to manage ourselves, but it's okay, as long as no one gets hurt in the process!
MIST :: ...I am a literal God, do not patronize me.
[ Dandy laughs awkwardly and the camera turns to the fog, which had cleared and sent everyone back. frame turns back to the three toons. ]
MIST :: Should I escort you two as well?
DANDY :: Nope! As long as Astro gets me down, we can figure out our way back!

[ Dandy laughed, smiling brightly. The scene forwarded to them being on the ground, Dandy skipping ahead happily. Astro stayed back, looking at the sky. ]

[ Once they reached Gardenview, they were happy to see everything was like it once was, Dandy even more happy seeing his friends surround him. ]

MIST :: Sureee! I think I'm free!
[ They faded, Dandy struggling to hold himself as they were transferred, the three now at a circle table, alongwith seating, though made from clouds. ]
MIST :: What's hanging?
DANDY :: Mist, what you're doing is bad! These toons have been gone for days but to them its only been a few hours! Their friends miss them-- I miss them!
[ Dandy slams his fists on the table. Mist appears clueless, tilting her head. ]
MIST :: What?
DANDY :: You're... you're a danger--
[ Before Dandy could finish, he suddenly disappeared into thin air. ]
MIST :: I'm not dangerous.
[ Astro stared at the empty space with shock, shifting uncomfortably before his view shifted to her. ]
ASTRO :: ...What happened to him..?
MIST :: Eh? Oh, he's just outside! Isn't that obvious?
ASTRO :: ...Yeah... yeah, right.
[ . . . ]
MIST :: Soooo?
ASTRO :: Are... you aware of what you're doing to these toons?
MIST :: Helping them, of course! Most certainly NOT endangering them!
[ Frame increases on Astro, his voice hushed as he glanced out the window. ]
ASTRO :: Dandy... what do I say..? Please come back...
[ He sharply inhaled. ]
ASTRO :: And what--
MIST :: I'm doing something good for them! I'm showing these toons PARADISE, an ESCAPE from the horrible impacts of the world.
[ The sun shined through a window directly behind Mist, giving her spotlight as she smiled. ]
ASTRO :: ...Yes, I've noticed, but too much of something good can easily turn bad...
MIST :: ..Continue.
ASTRO :: Mist, so many toons outside of paradise love them, and they're... so concerned. To you, this may not seem like any longer than a few minutes... but days are speeding by outside of here...
MIST :: ...
ASTRO :: You can make things right--
MIST :: Leave my office.
ASTRO :: No. Please, listen... they won't go back, they don't want to; you're putting them in a dream world that... that they can't awaken from... they're staying here because it's unrealistically perfect. They must return to reality..!
[ Astro stood, a worried and cautious expression as he faced Mist. ]
ASTRO :: You need to wake them up.
[ The frame remains on Astro, his face shifting into delighted surprise as she spoke. ]
MIST :: ...Perhaps.
[ Frame shifts to her lower face before panning up to her eyes, a red spark replacing her pupils. ]
MIST :: But pray, do tell, is it truly that bad? Let's review it, I mean, they enjoy it here, no? Plus, they shouldn't go back for others, they should go back because they want to... and they don't. Now do they?
ASTRO :: I-I...
[ Frame focuses on his blanket, Astro trembling as the fabric tightens for comfort. ]
ASTRO :: You're right, they shouldn't hold themselves back to keep other toons happy, yet, wouldn't it be a shame if we had to pronounce them dead..? To strip them of the true joys of living-- The struggles... they're difficult and demotivating but there's... there's so much to experience...
[ Astro hesitated, watching her expression. ]
MIST :: ...
[ Soon, there were screams. Astro looked outside and everyone was sinking, the clouds beneath them no longer supporting their weights, everyone was falling. ]
[ Astro uses his magic and the clouds support the toons. ]
MIST :: ...Your words are annoyingly Persuasive. I... guess it is time I left everyone go.
[ Mist turns away, a tear falling. Astro looks down and notices his magic isn't supportive anymore. ]
MIST :: I apologize for the issues I've caused--
[ Her arm tingles with blue sparks, Mist looking back. ]
ASTRO :: You can still redeem yourself, But please... keep the city standing... it'll... they'll all fall if you don't...
[ The cloud city which was previously falling apart, reformed, became stable. ]
MIST :: ...Compelling. Whatever, just remove yourself from my sight, I'll send them back or... whatever.
[ Mist stood, walking out the door with Astro trailing behind, all the toons gathered and concerned. A fog surrounded them, Astro watching with interest. ]
ASTRO :: Another question, if you don't mind..?
MIST :: What?
ASTRO :: Were you responsible for the fog everyone got lost in?
[ Astro held curiosity, howeved Mist grew defensive. ]
MIST :: ...I didn't mean to pull them in the dome--!!
DANDY :: The dome? [ Dandy asked, coming from the background. ]
MIST :: Do you mind?! ...Sorry. Uhm, the dome is the forest you walked around. Toons can easily end up there if they can't navigate it. I merely take them in to rest or locate their destination. So, yes, I do control the fog.
DANDY :: Hm... well it's okay! It's hard to manage ourselves, but it's okay, as long as no one gets hurt in the process!
MIST :: ...I am a literal God, do not patronize me.
[ Dandy laughs awkwardly and the camera turns to the fog, which had cleared and sent everyone back. frame turns back to the three toons. ]
MIST :: Should I escort you two as well?
DANDY :: Nope! As long as Astro gets me down, we can figure out our way back!
ASTRO :: Why wouldn't I..?
[ Dandy laughed, smiling brightly. The scene forwarded to them being on the ground, Dandy skipping ahead happily. Astro stayed back, looking at the sky. ]
DANDY: Come on, Astro!
ASTRO: ...Coming...
[ Once they reached Gardenview, they were happy to see everything was like it once was, Dandy even more happy seeing his friends surround him. ]
SHELLY :: You guys did it! And you're both okay!
SPROUT :: We were so worried!
PEBBLE :: Bworf!!
VEE :: I had no doubt they would survive, statistics show that they've saved the town enough time to be able to live past a bit of fog.
SPROUT :: Don't lie to them, Vee! You were just as worried!
VEE :: Was not.
SHELLY :: Not to argue... but Sprout's right, you were overheating at the thought they'd be gone.
VEE :: I-- A tad bit. However, you two were far more concerned.
DANDY :: Whatever you say!
[ Screen fades, but just before it fades completely, a small scene of Astro standing amomg the clouds, blanket gone as he reaches out but fails as his vision fogs. Camera zooms out to show it was a thought bubble, revealing Mist sleeping. ]
