Being a college student is beyond draining and it really gets you in that burn out state, where you are tryin your best to keep certain image or reach a goal but still end up being vulnerable. Many ppl take being vulnerable as a threat and start pushing themselves past their limits instead of healing. I realised that overcompensating with something when you’re vulnerable its just draining, you’ll end up hating yourself for not reaching that goal, when you werent even meant reach it to begin with. You were sensitive and exhausted , you needed rest not a punishment.

So i took a few days off myself, to reflect upon some things and be kinder to myself cuz we as in ourselves ,are our only safe space to heal , recover and be sensitive. The worst thing that we could do to ourselves is treat ourselves with judgement and cruelty when we need a safe space.
