i’m still maintaining at around 76kg and honestly?? better than hard yo-yo gaining again. the differe this time i think is that i’ve actually changed my relationship to food; i eat way less to cope with emotions and i don’t have this constant need to think about my next meal; food has become more of a passing thought and i’m pretty consistently only eating dinner, except on days i work retail; there i allow myself to eat during the day bc i really need the energy and i know i will perform better and recover easier and also burn most of it and that’s worth more to me than some imaginary fasting streak or whatever

also this month two people estimated my age to be five years younger than what i am which was fucking incredible for the self esteem i’m not gonna lie

okay but like now that i’ve lost 17 kg none of my pants fucking fit anymore. i already used to wear baggy oversize but now it’s getting ridiculous to where when the pants are zipped up and buttoned they fall down my legs onto the floor if u don’t use a belt. and like for winter that’s been fine bc i just put sweatshirts or sweaters over the bulging waistband but idk what to do now that it’s getting warmer again

and i mean the easiest solution would be to buy new clothes but i don’t have money for that so do i attempt to sew my pants to fit me better?? idk i have rudimentary sewing skills at best i don’t wanna ruin them if i could sell them on vinted or whatever

i’m also frustrated bc there is nobody in my life that’s a safe person to approach about this topic or weightloss in general. my bf gets concerned, my mom gets weirdly defensive and passive aggressive (bc she’s also struggled with weight and body image her whole life i get it); my sister is currently at her highest weight ever and i don’t want to make her feel bad, and i don’t have friends so there is nobody to even mention it to or get help or just to have somebody go thrifting with
