I started this series with low expectations, given that I don't usually care for sports-themed shows. However, it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. Visually, the art style reminded me a bit of Wakfu, and the animation is fantastic. I also found the character design highly original, offering a wide variety of representations.

The series manages to draw you into the story right from the very first episodes.

What I also really appreciated was the cast of main characters. Each of them has their own background, personality, and most importantly flaws. I found it poetic that Milo was initially teased for his tama, only to prove on the field that it was precisely thanks to that tama that they won the match against the Shadows. It made me reflect on the fact that we all have potential and that no talent is useless.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see a queer couple in the series.

I haven't felt this excited about a Disney series since The Owl House. My only complaint is that I’ll have to wait until 2027 for a new season; that said, I hope the series flourishes and doesn't suffer the same fate as other prematurely canceled Disney shows.
