Background character

Reflection

I was initially really excited for the elements project as it was the first project of the year where we need to have more creative input .

I’m pleased with how my background design came out as backgrounds were something that I’m not confident in and definitely need to practice more however I think the forest I created definitely is a good start and fits well with the character design I created to fit into it.

For this project I definitely to work more into it as I did’t realize the amount of time we had to work on it and could of worked faster then what I did.I also need to create more of a struggle with my element.I got feedback to include something like stepping stones in the animation to show more a struggle in the animation and a goal for the character to reach .

Reflection

For this group project I paired up with Becky and Leshaune . From the start I felt we got along very well and we all had the same idea in our heads that we were passionate about . It was great to work together as I feel as artist we have different yet distinct styles that helped distinctive the difference between each time period .

Leshaune was tasked with the past,Becky with present while I did future.I feel that we each worked well on separate scenes however faced some slight technical difficulties when putting the scenes together and creating smooth transitions when our character would pass though different time lines.

A big draw back we had was through the animatic phase as we were given feedback that it was’tn quite clear what story we were trying to convey . Looking back on it I definitely agreed with the feedback and other i’m happy that I redid a lot of my scenes to make it more clear as I think it payed off well however it did’tn allow very much time for me to complete my animation or to color it when we had a lot of ideas to use color to help convey our film more.
