Little sneak-peek of a fantasy novel project Iâm working on
  Itâs all still very much in the making, but I just had the inspiration for a very specific scene within the story. It is not very spoilery plot-wise, so i figured I might as well share it with you guys. It displays the relationship between three of the main characters in the story. I do not wish to go into too much detail about the novel itself, safe for the fact that Iâm trying to integrate a lot of queer-characters and -relationships as naturally, as possible into the story. One of the main protagonists will have a gay relationship for example. (And I donât plan on killing him. ;3) If you want to ask more in-detail questions about the novel, you can always hmu via chat. I love talking about my stories. It helps in my process of fleshing them out.

Sorry Iâve been gone. Had intense surgery, twice in the same day because playing around with wires in the spinal cord that are connected to a fully charged battery isnât the most relaxing thing to do. Anyways, still recovering and sleeping a lot but gonna try and get back to most of my blogs.

Lysander rumbled softly, a warmth encompassing his chest at the lay brotherâs submissive stance and tone.
He moved quickly, faster than usual, and gently pushed Sebastian against the wall while nosing up and down his jaw in a praising gesture. He chuffed against the manâs neck and began scenting him to make sure that others knew that the archer was his. It made him happy that Sebastian didnât think he was a monster or repulsive; to him, that was almost as good as responding to a mating request.
Being pushed against the wall so sudden worried Sebastian for a moment, but Hawkeâs behavior was somewhat⌠adorable? He reminded the brother of a happy puppy and soon Sebastian couldnât hold back an amused giggle as he leaned his head sideways.
âMaker, what are ye doinâ thaur?â, he asked, amusement pitching his voice significantly.
He froze at the sound of the man's laughter and blushed deeply. But, Sebastian DID move his head to the side and gave him more room so...
That was more than enough reason to continue and to start licking the archer's neck to add to Lysander's scent.

Lysander nodded at the second question and just answered with one gruff word that almost sounded like a growl, for the third. âPack.â
âPackâ, Sebastian repeated with a look of soft wonder on his face. It was almost riddiculous how such a simple word, could stir such a warm feeling in the brotherâs chest. He knew enough about canines in general, to understand the gist of this wordâs meaning: Friends, family, belonging. dropping his gaze in a sudden bout of shyness, he muttered oddly subdued: âI feel⌠flattered. Really! Jist, try nae to do that in public again⌠eet could harm yer reputation in Kirkwall, if youâre beinâ seen kissinâ clerics.â

Sebastian gave Hawke a blank expression for a very long moment after the revelation. Sure, he had heard of werewolfs. Starkhaven had some legends and myths revolving around these wolf men, but-

Shaking himself out of his confusion, the brother decided to just skip, what he could not comprehend and move on to the gist of the conversation.

For some odd reason this caused a blush to spread over his cheeks. He simply could not fathom, why someone like Hawke would feel like this for Sebastian at all.
âWhy me?â, he muttered, as if he was afraid of the answer.
