“I want us to make a home together,” Claire (Caitriona Balfe) says to Jamie (Sam Heughan) as fans are treated to their first glimpse of River Run, a luxurious plantation in North Carolina owned by Jocasta Fraser (Maria Doyle Kennedy), Jamie’s aunt.

The next season of the addictive Starz drama, which is based on Diana Gabaldon’s fourth book in the Outlander series, Drums of Autumn, follows the Frasers as they embark on a new chapter together in the dangerous new world of pre-Revolutionary War America.

“Do you trust me, Claire?” Jamie asks his wife in the promo’s final few seconds.

Caitriona’s hilarious description of Claire’s wedding dress:

“It (the wedding dress) was really bloody heavy. And I can’t…like you can’t really walk. Obviously I do what I don’t but I hate to be singled out… which is obviously where I am on the stage by myself!

To get from the dressing room to the church – and you’ve met all the boys and you can tell how ‘sympathetic’ and ‘understanding’ they are! So Terry had this golf cart so I could stand up in the back of it like a frickin’ pope…I was driven from my dressing area all the way up to the church and greeted by a bunch of hairy men in kilts laughing and pointing at me.

So I was not the happiest bride that day~”
