I just can't stop thinking about how Rick is literally the cause of his own unhappiness and how aware he is of it. And how everything becomes a cycle in his life. And since, in the end, even knowing he can't escape himself, he fantasizes and tries to live other lives, even if only as a "vacation," it's comforting for a few moments not to be Rick Sanchez. damn. I think the Beths want to help, but they don't know how. Summer and Morty seem the most aware of how truly unhappy Rick is.
