Lying Cameras & Boring Bricks

. I’ve not exactly posted much about one of the most important people in my life right now! INTRODUCING MY MAN!!! Samuel Forrester! He prefers Sam. To me he is my best friend, my crazy person, my rock, my outlet, my comfort blanket, my world, my sunshine on my darkest days, my Dewey to my Gale and my Sora to my Kairi. Over the last 500+ days We’ve gone from being the best of friends, to something more, to then something that will be forever. • Sam invited me out on a date with him October/November of 2021. Due to my heart being repeatedly broken I wasn’t ready emotionally. But that didn’t stop him wanting to hang out, not just with me but with my group of friends too. After a few road trips and little outings as friends, March 2022 he plucked up the courage to again ask if I were able to go on a first official date with him. March 27th 2022 we finally did. Following that date, Every 2 weeks we went on another. Taking it in turns to choose the activity. We even took a week off work visiting other cities, exploring new and old places. We soon made it official, but kept it within our own bubble. After all the greatest of luxuries is your secrets and for us it was just that. By August all of our immediate family knew, Sam and I took another week off and went on several more little adventures with friends and meeting family. Little did I know was already in the mindset of something more. September, He met with my Dad for lunch 👀. October we had a 5 day weekend, we visited the temple, enjoyed thrill-seeking at Thorpe park with friends, had fun scouting for photography locations and then on the 24th of October Sam took me to The Fenn Bell Conservation Project. A small zoo that aim to rescue and enrich the life of wild animals, they look after a variety of animals including 6 gorgeous foxes. My favourite animal is a fox and low a behold Sam had booked a 30 minute experience with the foxes for both himself and I. Soon after the experience, whilst on the balcony looking over the enclosure, Sam behind me was on one knee, the most gorgeous ring in hand, expressing his love for me and because he loved me more than just a human being I said Yes! 💍💙🧡🦊 (at Our Adventures) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqFpCB5seHZ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

. 2022 was a year I’ll most probably never forget. Amongst all the chaos and momentary heartbreak we made it through. All of us should be somewhat proud that we’re still here, withstanding and facing up to our demons, choosing to put our loved ones first, forming a life worth living for a better tomorrow all whilst never forgetting our worth. My ever increasing bucket list somehow decreased massively this year. Some I had expected to tick off, others I never saw coming, whilst a few weren’t even on my bucket list but I’m so undeniably happy I was able to experience them. So amid the twists and turns that was my life, my rollercoaster adventure this past year, what were my highlights… • For my 29th Birthday, (w/ my dad and sister) we spent the day at the Harry Potter Studios, I’ve always wanted to experience Hogwarts in the Snow! • I was able to visit London temple three times this year and Preston Temple twice. • I met Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill and got to experience my second comic con. • I was able to see Ed Sheeran, Maisie Peters and Billie Eilish (x2) live in concert, my sister and I even made the final cut of Billie’s Concert film several times! • Me and my best friend went on several little adventures around the UK. We visited Birmingham, Nottingham, Skegness, London, Lancaster, Chelmsford, Southend-on-sea and Rochester. • Managed to squeeze in extra trips to Alton Towers and Thorpe Park Resorts with close friends. (I’ve never in my life gone from being repeatedly soaked to bone dry in the space of 11 hours, I have never craved a fresh pair of socks more in my life, than I had that day). • Fell in love with my best friend and called it official, but kept it to ourselves. 💕🤫🤐 • He too planned a day out and booked an experience of a life time! That being the chance to meet, sit, commune, touch, feed and be one with 6 foxes!!! 🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊 2022 truly brought so many incredible life changing experiences for me, some I’ve not even shared with you all yet. Upon reflection I feel a sense of achievement and a sense of excitement for the year ahead. 2023 let’s make it a great one!
