It's been a work in progress... I feel like I have a few things to share, considering the life experiences I've lived the last 2+ years. A couple in Las Vegas, NV saw this story on the news. They donated their deceased son's wheel chair to her. It was blue in color. We were asked by the City of Chino if we could paint the wheel chair pink for the woman. We were more than happy to do so! They picked up the pieces of the wheel chair today. We will update with a finished photo and story once it's complete. #PayItForward #godbless

Stopped through VJHS for lunch to visit my little bro @manman__bo. He is about a month away from having surgery to treat #TransverseMiletus which is a neurological condition consisting of an inflammatory process of the spinal cord. I met this young man a few months ago at a #youth event that I was apart of at his school. He had such a great attitude about his condition. Just yesterday we had a phone conversation and he mentioned that after he recovers from surgery he wants to start playing sports. Not only will you play sports Man-Man, I believe you will inspire a community of your peers to live life daily overcoming. Keep'on pushing... You have my support and our prayers are with you. I could be bitter because I haven't heard a single word from my employer #UPS in the last two years since my injury. Instead I'll use this life experience as fuel to always remind myself and others that we only remain as valuable as an employee number to the corporations we work for. I have 4 goals set that I wanted to accomplish this year... 1) To drive again. 2) To live on my own independently again. 3) To restore my spiritual foundation by getting back in church. 4) To return back to work in some compactly being that I no longer can drive UPS trucks. ▪️ So far I've accomplished 3 of the 4 with returning to work being my last goal to accomplish. Me and my doctor have turned in all my #AmericaDisibilityAct paperwork twice only to be neglected and ignored. I've been praying to see what The Lords will is in this situation and haven't gotten a clear answer yet. God is helping me tremendously with #LYDOlife but I'm not sure yet if he wants me to give up on going back to work to focus solely on my endeavor or not. I know #UPS is aware of me wanting to come back to work because their #workerscompensation #lawyers call and send me letters to try and get me to accept a settlement from a previous on the job injury that would automatically terminate my employment. It's so sad and heartless the games corporations play, but I must keep my integrity and stay prayerful until I get the answer I need to hear to move forward one way or the other. #LifeAfteraSpinalCordInjury involves much more than just wanting to #walkagain. It forces you to work vigorously everyday to restore everything you once had and more. It's a challenge, I've accepted it. I will win!

I am a #paraplegic, but I'm always amazed by the mental toughness of my #quadriplegic friends. Pictured is Ricardo who was #paralyzed on July 4th. Me and @wheelie_king met and mentored him during his 2 month stay in rehab. He has been home now with his wife and kids for almost one month. It's amazing to see and hear him talk about how on fire he is about maximizing his #recovery. Look out world, he just ordered himself a brand new "manual" #wheelchair. Rebirth! #LYDOlife ♿️ #SciNetwork

Before my injury I use to just jump out of bed, throw my UPS uniform on, and go. Now days it takes preparation which consist of a 30-45 min warm up stretch routine in bed just to be able to sit upright, and a mindset that's determined to conquer the day. No matter how long it takes you to get up.. Make sure you get up, get out and get something! Living with a #spinalcordinjury comes with unique challenges, but the worst thing you can do is stay in bed because all that leads to is a sick life. We can #overcome this dreadful condition #SciNetwork. Some days you have to dig deeper than others to get going. Mindset is EVERYTHING!
