Truth and Lies

   ”H-hey what’s the big idea bringing me here?” He asked witha stern expression. This was far beynd suspicious. “What’s your deal, lady? The jokes over—” This was truly trying his patience…

     Wasting little time, Reshiram extended her dragon wings from her back, letting them stretch out in full. She flapped them a few times so he'd see they were real before continuing on with what she was saying. "Now will you take me seriously? I don't demand total and utter respect, but I at least want people to listen to me!"

   ”Well, that was rude.” He muttered, eyeing this oddly chaotic girl. “Look, most people in this town know that she’s the Hero of Truth. I mean, seriously Kyou needs to do a better job with his pranks.”

     "I can promise you Kyouhei had absolutely nothing to do with this. I don't even really know him." Reshiram shook her head, realizing Hugh wasn't going to take her seriously. She grabbed his arm, and started to drag him behind some houses, where she knew the kids were too scared to go because of some 'ghost' they had come up with.

   Hugh let out a long, disappointed sigh. “Look, if Kyou put you up to this, I’m sorry but I’m not amused. Tell him that he isn’t funny and—” Hugh reached in her pockets, pulling out a few pokedollars and holding them out. “—I doubt he paid you, so here’s money for the trouble.” Plus, he sorta liked the fat that she was so good with children. Even his own sister spoke fondly of her from time to time.

     Reshiram knocks Hugh's hand to the side, scattering the money. "No one set me up to this, and I'm dead serious. You are aware that Mei is the current Hero of Truth, right? I need to make sure the power of the legendary dragon, Reshiram, is not misused."

   ”…..” This familiar woman who he’d never been acquainted with was certainly—strange. Always around Mei, around the children. And yet here she was talking about deadly trials. “….Come again?”

     "Okay, but seriously. I need to check to be sure you're a fitting mate for the Hero of Truth." Her gaze sobered up almost instantly, figuring she would joke around with him later. She knew him, and he likely knew of her dragon form.

   ”My…hair…?”

     "Yeah, it like... defies gravity. Also, I'm here to test you with some pretty intense and potentially deadly trials." She was half joking. She was going to test something, but there were no trials. Deadly or otherwise.

   He is simply stared at, and stares right back.

     "... How does your hair do that?"

     “Merde, who do you think you are? Pardon the Kalosian, but you came out of nowhere and suddenly started accusing me of something I don’t even know, and threaten to kill someone?”

     "Err... I'm Reshiram. Mei's partner, the White Dragon of Truth. And I know who you are, Ms. Hero of Death."
