literally what is the appeal of south park

someone arguing that pansexuality isn't biphobic just told me "i don't know about the negative stereotypes associated with bisexuality" .one day bi discourse will make me lose my mind

soo much support for bisexuality is performative it's kind of like. i don't know. not to be dramatic but like actually if you support labels like pansexuality and other mspec shit anything nice you say about bisexuals is void and means nothing. you are supporting something actively harmful for bisexuals in favor of seeming more inclusive and don't actually care about bisexuals at all. literally insane that pansexuality is so widely uncritically supported and DEFENDED and no one listens to us. i wonder if things will ever get better for bisexuality

there is no epidemic of young people deciding to call themselves trans because it's seen as cool or whatever that is so made up. no one does that on a whim xenogenders are not turning the kids trans it is literally a rightwing viewpoint to think they're being brainwashed by "promotion" of being trans/acceptance, doesn't matter if you switch the words around a little

it's kind of interesting to me that whenever a character is implied to have/has feelings for the same gender (not in a way that implies they cant have feelings for other genders) they're immediately seen as canonically gay and it's awful to think of them as bi but characters who are much more heavily implied to be bisexual or are even explicitly bisexual will CONSTANTLY be headcanoned as gay/lesbian without a problem. i wonder what this could be caused by

Anyways. not to be like um pessimistic as hell but there really is only performative support for bisexuality and even bisexuals won't stand up for ourselves bc we need to make ourselves as small as possible to be included and accepted. we are just thrown under the bus constantly in favor of labels that only implicate harmful things about us and enforce internalized biphobia and no one careessss

i have way too many thoughts on bisexuality

bi lesbian (or "mspec" lol) is in my opinion a useless thing to call yourself that is probably just internalized biphobia again like every other microlabel related to bisexuality but Honestly, i think the only reason there is so much pushback against it IS ALSO bc of biphobia LOL
