Don’t give up! Unfortunately there’s no quick fix but if art is in your blood then pull up a chair and start drawing more, and more, and more…

If drawing feels like a chore more than it is fun, then maybe art isn’t for you. Those potato to sex gods probably drew a fuck ton, or even if they only drew a few things they were probably studying intensely and revising vigorously. Even if to an outside viewer it looks like little to no effort was put into improving by others, that’s just a facade. Sure some people seem to learn quicker than others but that doesn’t mean not everyone can learn.

If you really want to be an artist then time to pull up your pants! 

For motivation try looking back at our first drawings or set some bench markers. Practice certain things your bad at by drawing them again and again and again. 

Art is just like everything else in life. If you want to get better, you practice.

Don’t give up! Find a cat to hug when you’re feeling down or eat some food that your doctors tell you not to eat…. because fuck it…. you need that sugary motivation!
