Hi everyone,

it’s been a while since I made a personal post on this tumblr, these last years I was more lurking mindlessly while resting from work

so, uh, a friend recommended me try and do a post like this so I though I’d give it a shot

Since I moved abroad 5 years ago, I’ve been living on an average of $150 a month and working myself to exhaustion, it’s started to take a toll on me; my health has been deteriorating and it’s been getting painful for me to even stand up and walk.

I have to plan everything I do to have as little movement as possible.

I have really bad back issues from birth and the time I can work is limited, but I’ve been stretching that time further and further because I have so much stuff I need to do.

I tried making growth drives, and other things to try to catch up with late bills but I didn’t really make it, and I accumulated even more work for myself. 

I’ve always tried to keep my prices low so it would be more accessible to people, and I just finished a massive job that took me months just because I wanted to help a friend’s project and make people happy. I didn’t make a dime from it, I really did it just because I wanted people to be happy when they see it. ( it was a small thing, but it kept growing. i learned a lot from it. )

I’d like to say the quarantine and everything has been making it worse too like everyone else, but tbh I’ve been mostly locked at home working these last 5 years so it’s not too different for me.

the lockdown came as a relief that I’m not the only one in this situation, before it was soul-crushing to be stuck at home all the time and not being able to enjoy much of anything or not being able to afford to visit my relatives ( who think I’m ignoring them by now )

Right now I’m nearing $2k in debt, and since I can’t pay, my roommate has to cover for me and it’s been real bad for him too. I’m really thankful for all he has done for me and everything so i feel really guilty his life has been so limited because of me. I wanted to repay it for his kindness but despite doing my best I can’t help but be anything more than a burden.

just recently we were bleeding money because we moved to a decent apartment to live in and there were issues with the old apartment and we had to pay extra 3 months of rent, plus this one, plus the moving etc. 

Where I’m living I can’t find clothes my size ( i have almost nothing, most stuff got worn out or too tight to wear. ) or a good chair/bed so it’s been tough. I never catch a break from my back pains because laying down or sitting is so painful.

I don’t like to open up about these things because people who don’t feel it sometimes fail to grasp how it feels to be in so much pain all the time that it becomes hard to focus or think right and just assume i’m hamming it up for sympathy or whatever, I just got used to clam up about personal issues.

but like, I’ve been taking 650mg~1g paracetamol and it does literally nothing but make me sleepy.

This month I’ve been crunching to finish a load of work that is due dec 31, and I won’t be able to celebrate much of christmas or new year, and after that I still have a long backlog to take care of, and then I’ll have to take more commissions on top of that to stay afloat and so on… it’s how it has been so far. I’m tired.

I have a bunch of personal projects I wanted to do for years now, but I could barely start.

Idk if I’ll really get any help, I’m usually unlucky with this stuff because I have social anxiety and I’m really bad at expressing myself, but I hope so. I really want to be able to feel like i’m alive next year. I’m tired of being a burden.

Well, looks like Tumblr’s finally going up in flames on the 17th and taking all the NSFW blogs with it. I haven’t been able to keep in contact with my friends these past couple of months, so I’m really out of the loop about everything that’s been going on here lately… (I just found out because a previous commissioner messaged me about the whole thing tonight, yikes)

sorry for making another growth drive so soon but our situation is really bad rn..

I haven’t been able to work much these previous months ( chair ) so I got way behind on my bills.
