Life as an artist on the grind is one of the most beautiful things god has ever blessed me with. I been singing since I was eleven professionally and trying to make maintain life as a student is a task to say the least and I haven't really begun to make it any where as of yet but such is life and i appreciate every moment. I heard a quote one time that spoke to me as to why it's my job to take the gift i've been given and make something of it:

"Just as God brought light unto the world such is the duty of the musician."

Music is to illuminate those in darkness. To shed light on situations and subjects that would be overlooked or spoken about in whispers.
