6 months ago I lost one of the most important people in my life, my mom. I'm an only child and she was a single parent, so we were always together. Losing her has been one of the hardest thing I've had to face in my life. One thing I can't stop thinking about is the day she died. I sat there holding her hand and said goodbye as the nurses made her comfortable and she was able to smile at me and say goodbye and that she loved me. Once they removed the trachea I knew that was it. I watched my mom die. There are no words to describe that feeling. Unless you have experienced something like that there is no way to understand that impact that can have on someone. I know my mom is no longer in pain. But the selfish part of me wishes she could be here now. I don't know if anyone will read this, but if you do, know that if you lost someone special to you.. Every emotion you r feeling, anger, sadness at random times is ok. Don't let anyone keep you from feeling how you need to feel at that exact moment. Everyone heals and deals in there own way and there is no exact time when "It's time" to move on. You heal at your own pace and time. ❤️
