why are all the actual real human jobs like baker and florist and childcare worker barely paying livable wages but the fake jobs like ai specialist boot licker or marketing campaign dick sucker making six figures

current situation

i know how hard it is to understand this but you’re not your parents. you’re not living for your parents either, you’re living for you. you weren’t created to please them, you actually owe them nothing. you didn’t ask to be born. so if they hit you with values and opinions you willingly won’t take on, draw the line. you are separate from your parents. you get to have your own views and way of life. if you don’t want to marry, don’t. if you want to adopt, adopt. if you want to be together with someone that isn’t of the opposite gender, date them. do not, and i repeat, DO NOT put your parents or caregivers before your own needs AND WANTS. don’t be miserable just because you made decisions based on what your parents expected. this is not how to be happy and fulfilled. have your own opinions. don’t put your parents on a pedestal. they are just humans you interact with. have compassion but see yourself separately from them. because you are.

one very important advice i want to give you is to stop suppressing your emotions. this will literally kill you, i’ve experienced it myself to the point where it got so bad that my body reacted with physical pain. and by letting out your emotions i don’t mean crying on public transport (even though this is also valid!) but don’t say it’s fine when it’s not. everyone is telling us to be positive and to not get upset over little things but if little things upset you please be upset. because the goal is not to SAY that everything is fine but to BE at a state where everything is fine which you can only achieve by letting out what needs to get out.
