“Peter had denied Jesus three times, and the weight of that failure could have defined the rest of his life. Yet Jesus did not discard him. He met Peter beside the fire and gently brought him back to the place of his deepest regret.

Three times Jesus asked, “Do you love Me?” The questions grieved Peter, but they were not meant to crush him. Jesus was confronting the wound so that it could be healed. He was showing Peter that love for Christ could become deeper than the fear that once caused him to fall.

Each question was followed by a renewed assignment: “Feed My sheep.” Peter’s failure was acknowledged, but his calling was not cancelled. Repentance opened the way for restoration, and restoration led back into mission.

Jesus does not ignore our failures, but neither does He allow regret to have the final word. He restores us with truth, strengthens our love, and invites us to follow Him again.

Your failure may be real, but it does not have to be final when Jesus begins to restore what fear once broke.”

I think we've all failed Jesus, but fortunately Jesus does not fail us.

Thank You Jesus, for Your grace, mercy and forgiveness. Through Your sacrifice on the Cross, sin does not have the final say. There is redemption through You. Amen and Hallelujah! 🙏🕊️🙌

Lord, wash away the thoughts that steal my joy. Remove the fear of what could happen, the regret of what has already happened, and the pressure of trying to control what belongs to You.

Let Your peace flow through my heart like a refreshing river. Quiet every anxious voice within me and remind me that I am never facing life alone. Your presence is greater than every problem before me.

When my mind becomes overwhelmed, help me pause and remember Your promises. You are faithful, You are near, and You are already working in places I cannot see.

Teach me to release the situations I cannot change. Give me wisdom for the things I can do, patience for the things that require time, and faith for the things only You can accomplish.

May Your peace guard my heart throughout this day. Let it shape my words, guide my decisions, and help me respond with grace instead of fear.

God, I surrender every worry to You. Fill me with the peace that surpasses all understanding, strengthen my faith, and carry me through this day with confidence. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
