Nepeta had always been one to wake up early in the morning. A hunters’ instinct, to raise when the deadly sun set and to roam the woods along with the two moons – that was what she was used to. A habit that did not die once they continued their lives on Earth C. And although the planet she found herself on was different than Alternia, it was her new home now. And old habits were hard to break.          It was also the first time she owned an actual hive for herself. True, her cave had been her hive for the few years she had spent on her home planet, but now she truly had walls and doors and a roof on top of her head without worries of cave ins or wild animals breaking into her home. In her view, this was quiet wonderful.          After all they went through, a normal, peaceful life still seemed off and Nepeta found herself looking for things to do, adventures to seek, prey to hunt. And, most importantly; finally having a real life, talking with her friends and being close to people. What is a Heart player if they cannot be near other hearts? What is a Goddess of Love if she has been isolated?        It had been her luck to be spending more time with the people she cared about on this odd, new planet they had created. She had been hanging out more with Aradia, spent even more time with Equius, even enjoyed the company of the humans. There was all, but one friend that she hadn’t gotten the time to spend much time with, and this was:

I am no coward, I have the strength to admit that they are ugly. Whereas you are squinting your eyes in hopes to fathom a shred of attraction towards the horrid curse that has 8een woven into their deoxyri8onucleic acid. 

Nepeta smiled at that, crossing her arms. She didn’t seem angry nor upset at the Cerulean’s comment.
