Blitzwing is a travel agent living in a house boat just up the river from the Atlantic. Bumblebee is a Cavernsmurm overseeing a crab farm just off the coast. Both have a desire to travel and experience new things but neither have the freedom to do so: Blitzwing from a financial position and Bee from a social obligation.
Life in the caverns is sheltered. Safe. Dull. So painstakingly dull. When he can find the excuse, or buy off his buddy Bulkhead with a favor, Bee likes to chill at the docks and people watch. Or, person watch. Really he just goes there to ogle the new guy, maybe challenge him to a fight. How does flirting work again? Oh nooo, they’re in the water, now they’re kissing, how could this happen?
If you go to the outdoor restaurant by the docks on a Friday night you might spot them, sharing a sundae on date night. Or hear the laughter from Blitzwing’s houseboat well into the early hours before dawn. Weekend mornings often find the two strolling the town streets, Bee wide-eyed in his water wagon. Blitzwing has a tub set up in his house Aquamarine style and many a lazy day off have been spent cuddled up watching tv. Sweet, until you need to call into work early but you smell like fish and your noodle lover is passed out in the only working shower.
