okay gonna lushpost for a second, chapters been up for about 15 hours and it normally takes a day or two to people to make their way through 16k words of me torturing these lesbians, so comments take a bit to start rolling in

well, i get my first comment on the new chapter from a “registered user” and it’s very clearly AI generative text, which just has me thinking about how AI is def scraping my work, which just has me feeling a little sick to my stomach, instead of the usual joy that comes with posting a new chapter, especially one that’s kind of a milestone since I’ve been updating this thing for 5 years and this chapter is really the toppling of a house of cards I’ve spent years stacking

i know that comes with the territory of having a popularish fic for a popular ship, so it’s like just a shitty byproduct. i know some writers private or unlist their work to hide it from AI, which I respect, but i really feel like i don’t want to hinder my horrible nightmare fic being visible

so idk what to do really, other than fuck myself, but i was gonna do that anyway, it’s a friday yknow?
