some details in Nova's design reminded me of various cultural elements so i tried drawing her human versions. the rings on Nova prime reminded me of Ndebele neck rings. and the shape of Nova's legs looks like she's wearing leg warmers, so i tried drawing her wearing hanfu with knee covers. i tried to find traditionally and historically accurate references but I'll admit that the info online is pretty scarce in english and my chinese is very bad...
