It was another day for Lillie, trekking through the Alola region on her journey with Moon, Elio, and Hau. She had taken her own path, hoping to figure something out for Nebby.
It was then that Lillie saw a young woman with very gray looking skin. It was worrisome, humans weren’t normally this color.
Curious, she approached.
“Are you okay Miss? You look very off-color. Do you need a Doctor?”
Pause. About-face turn. Obscured behind a visor, blue-gray eyes start to bore into green.
❝Huh? Me, off-color? Whaddya mean?❞ Ah, feigning total ignorance —the best way to deal with skeptical natives of an alien world you don’t belong in. As with every other trick in the book, it’s nowhere near foolproof ( how very unfortunate ), but Zossie hopes she won’t be pressed to resort to… less desirable methods.
Like fleeing. She is adjusting to this exotic environment, after all, and thus her body may be in no condition for a sprint ( ‘ may ’ naturally implies there is a chance her assessment is wrong, but is she willing to test it out? Hell no ) .
Perhaps she is actually sick.
❝Thanks a lot for the concern, though!❞
“I am not sure that I believe that... I mean, pardon if I am offending, but your skin is practically see-through. I highly suggest that we take you to a doctor. If your family can’t afford one, we can just go to my family’s island and have our doctors see you.”
The way the girl spoke threw her for a loop. Certainly not like anyone she had ever heard. There was no judging to be had, just worry for the young girl.Lillie herself was pale, sure, but this girl took it to a whole new level.
Truly though, maybe a stranger suddenly appearing and commenting on her appearance had made the girl uneasy. Lillie supposed that would do it for most.
“Ah, perhaps I should introduce myself. I am Lillith Mohn, but please, call me Lillie. What’s your name?”
