Yes I will be! I should definitely update that and just say will update when I have the time. I should give context that I know fully well Phantom is going to take me years so finish, I have eight chapters planned alongside the prologue that are going to be covering specific games that I know are gonna be pretty big.
Don't worry this doesn't come off as rude, unfortunately what was planned as a short hiatus had to become a long one due to me having to focus more on my job this year. Truly I should be apologizing to yall for not explaining my situation sooner so for that I have no excuse; I've been ashamed I haven't been able to do any art outside my work and was hoping to come back posting like look I'm alive!!! But that didn't happen.
For those curious I am a concept artist and what turned into one contract turned into multiple. While this was great and I'd loved working on all these different projects majority of them were indie so not a lot of payment so I had to take a lot of commissions and work on the side to compensate. I'm sure yall have noticed that besides the secret santa I just haven't had the time this year to post/make any fan art and the comic had to be put on complete pause as well.
I've been applying to a lot of different jobs that I'm hoping I can get something much more stable and figure out a good balance between drawing for work and drawing for fun.
Thank you guys for being so patient, I am truly sorry that yall were left in the dark for so long I should've said something much sooner when I realized I just didn't have the time.
I will say that I am hoping within the next month or so I can start drawing for myself again as I want to try testing a few different schedules to see if I can balance drawing for fun and work without burning myself or overworking my hand. My plan is to go back to page updates like before, I'm just unsure if they will be weekly, but I definitely want to start getting something out there again as it has been gnawing on my brain this entire year.
So hope yall are doing well and I hope I can start posting again very soon. š
(Also to the asks I haven't answered yet, I do see you, I promise I haven't deleted it, I just have drawings/comics I want to do to those.)
