Ep6: So now only left that two violent young master, that Yan young master, Bai scholar, Wen cousin and ofc our ML, Lu Fusheng. So they make a deal together for him to be his beloved taking a dangerous path, she will protect him and find out who wanted him dead. He was really good at this.

Ep15: That sick man lowlife He clearly fell for Shanbao bcs she was not afraid to protect herself even by killing the villains. The problem here was he had no moral and qualms at all. Wait... Especially like the lines about hatred and if you still live, I wldn't return to the Rong family. Ep31: I totally forgot about her father... She did absolutely right to mention about getting out of the clan voluntarily. Her father just want the prestige name of Rong family without taking care of the important matters. Well I support her grandma for this matters sksksks clearly useless son. What was so surprise? Myb he didn't know she even made her husband live in the rag clothes and clean the ancestral hall. So there was someone from higher up tried to hijack Rong family through Lu Jianglai. Ep32: Jianglai was really weak but actually what was going on?. Wow his background but I understand him. The Duke was in the fault too for not restraining his wife jealousy that caused Jianglai mom to flee that mansion. He looks so good in that velvet robe, the design was beautiful. Master Shuyu looks fine too, a little bit like ding Yuxi. Well... Only a nice appearance then. This princess talked about being gentle and what while her attitude was that over bearing and loud. Ep35: Wow Shanbao noticed all the tactics the Duke applied on Jianglai. She was right to go back though bcs there is no two of them being together in this situation. Well....... Yu Qianqian was really brave omg. THEY WERE SAVED THANK GOODNESS FOR XIE ZHENG THINKING AHEAD PROVIDING BACKUP AND CONTACTING GENERAL HE. I like that he wanted to test the strength of Changyu since she was the daughter of his dear friend and also bcs he heard of her merit killing Shi Hu. The guidance of Grand Tutor Tao was really important to nudge Changyu into being the great heroine. I mean, with her simple mind, she needs that guidance. When Yu Qianqian encouraged Changyu bcs it was clear that Changyu had this calling inside her to fight on the battlefield. Thank you YQQ for being a good friend and such an amazing woman too.

Ep30: I don't think Li Wenkan wld like that he was struck unconscious but yeah. Umm... I don't think General He will live bcs that army in front of Lucheng gate was so many. Ep33: Really what stopping Li Wenkan from killing that violent man?? Oh... That was a deserved miserable death for yuanhuai. Still, he was clever enough that he wanted a revenge to make Qi Min suffer, I'll give him that. With that said, the actor who played him is really good.

Ep34: I do hv to say I really like the styling of Emperor robe and Princess Royal robe too. I'm glad Mr and Mrs Zhao were fine and Xie Qi too. Wei Yan was such a snake to involve a child in this mess. He wanted the Emperor to be wary of Changyu and threaten him with the existence of the Imperial great-grandson. How did he even know ugh?? This old man Grand Tutor Li also can fck off. I never see such a headdress on a female general before. That must be her official look with armor getup to present in front of the Emperor I guess. Ep36: That damn old sack-of-bones grand tutor Li ughh. Poor Li Wenkan stuck with that kind of family. Changyu looks so fetching with her light blue outfit. So both of their headdresses were for march like this to show their might. I feel like it was so so unfair that Wei Yan pretended to be outrageous spouting family rules or whatsoever when he was the one who set up all those tragic events 17 years ago and he even wanted to kill Xie Zheng! Oh... So we get his back story and then what?

Ep37: Why I feel like Zhou fan/mo fan will be happening during this palace banquet?? Dammn I'm glad Xie Zheng, Changyu, Princess Royal and Gongsun Yi were fine. That foolish, incompetent Emperor really was useless now he blamed it all to his personal Eunuch like.... Talk about no loyalty at all. And that old sack of bone really tried his luck to get the military authority huh. I want to see Wei Yan VS Qi Min. I wonder how the Tiger tally that was in Shi Sanniang hand wld work with the tiger tally from Qi Min that Qianqian stole.

Ep38: I knew now why it seems so easy that tiger tally was stole from Qi Min so this was his plan. Why both tiger tally seems the same one and not different like in the scene of when Wei Qilin met Lord Changxin. At least Shi Sanniang realised what matters. That was so crazy... Wei Yan turned back just to help the Consort Shu and abandoned the army fighting against Bijue the enemy and that led to massacre of Jinzhou 17 years ago.

Ep39: All descended to chaos omg. Wait where all those ministers and officials escaped to bcs it was so easy for Yuanhuai to enter the court??. I hope Bao'er was doing fine. Yayyy Wei Yan vs Qi Min. So... All this while Wei Yan must know Grand Tutor Li plan to rebel with Yuanhuai so he just let it happened so he can trap them and oust Grand Tutor Li. Serve that old sack of bone right!!! His grandson already warned him but noooo he crazy about power and chance to get rid of Wei clan. Omg Wei Yan was really calm through all of this and now he with Xie Zheng still got time to duel each other wow. Well now we know that Yuanhuai love Qianqian enough to not want her dead with him. Do you know how much your own biological son hates you that he even help to save other life rather than yours? He deserves to be miserable. Ofc Wei Xuan must really be thankful for Xie Zheng that saved him and his mom. Oh... No wonder he didn't even feel a bit of affection to Wei Xuan that was so crazy. Tbh hvg your beloved be snatched by the Emperor wld make anyone goes crazy like he and qi rongyin was getting married and then.... That late Emperor deserved Wei Yan anger. WAIT THE MASSACRE WAS A TRAP SET BY THAT LAST EMPEROR?!!! umm... Wtf.

Their love story was a slow burn but I admire Li Wei for making Yin Zheng worked to earn her trust, affection and love. Yin Zheng didn't disappoint her. He really went above and beyond (tbh some of it cld be bare minimum) for Li Wei.

ML was Yin Zheng, the Sixth Prince. He was wise, intelligent, tactful navigating the his royal life since he didn't hv it easy growing up and really fought to get rightful place in the Imperial Court. One thing that was really noticeable and distinguished him from other princes was he really cared about the betterment of people of the nine regions. He was also good in martial arts but he kept it on down low. He cared for his brothers even though some of them ughh.

Honorable mention to Yin Qi the fifth prince , he might look simple (he can be slow at times esp his love life 😅) but he was very caring and loyal to Yin Zheng. To Yuan Ying, Haitang, Hao Jia, Shangguan Jing, the introvert girl and the two maids that cared for Li Wei. Love to see the friendships between all of them. Another one I like too mention is the wife of former prince song, the lady from Daichuan. I feel like she didn't abandon her moral bcs who wld like if their husband got a concubine? But she cared for Hao Jia a lot esp when she realised her husband was a bad man. Her herself was in abusive relationship I think, emotionally but she rose up and fought for herself and Hao Jia

I love some of the OST. Love the costumes and headdress too.

Ep15: I thought the smart Hao Jia wld do something to make the eldest prince bow to her or something but it wall just plots or schemes to make him favors her. She knew he was useless snobbish man, only can depend on him only bcs he was rich enough bcs of his parents ughh

Ep28: Prince Qi was right of what he said to the Emperor!!! This was so so so unfair to him. Yin Zheng was sooo mad. PRINCE SONG JUST YOU WAIT YOU LITTLE BTCH!!! AND THE FOURTH PRINCE TOO YOU BOTH SHOULD BE TRAMPLED BY HORSES!! Madam Chun was crying and I'm crying too.

Ep29: I'M SOOO MAD. What i notice is the Eldest Prince Song didn't want to admit his own faults and blamed others. Also, the Lord Xinchuan favored him so much that Yin Zheng suffered from it. Yin Zheng was sooooo nice to still care about Prince Song and taking into account of Lord Xinchuan feeling abt saving Prince Song.

Ep36 & 37: THAT FOURTH PRINCE AND HIS WIFE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN DOWN!!! Love to see Li Wei mad as fck as the physicians kept contemplating which prescriptions to give to Yin Zheng. Reminds me of Yuan Ying. Thank goodness Li Wei was from the background she was, it was immense help to cure Yin Zheng of his cold plague. From what I see, the 4th prince was instigated by his wife. See, by what Prince An said, even Lord Xinchuan knew what had happened. 4th prince thought he was slick. Since he followed the legitimate Eldest Prince loyally, that was a clear red flag. THE HUGGING SCENE AHHHH. That was what happened when you cared about ppl, they also wld return the favor. Umm... The popping veins on Yin Zheng forehead 🫦.

Ep38: Yin Zheng absolutely deserved to be Crown Prince!! He cares about the citizen and also wise of course. Li Wei's mother was the head of the family, the lady boss. When she held that cane and cracked it, We salute her 🫡.

Ep39: I love LOVE Li Wei wedding gown and her headdress!! Yin Zheng was so kind to give second chance to that fourth prince...
