When you are more mature than most, you rarely find anyone to whine to.
Everyone else just expects you to act as you always do, and when you crack?
You hurt more people by hurting, so you never hurt.
And sometimes when you fall, you just quietly pick up the pieces of what was once you.
Cause if you dont?
There is no one who will lay beside your pieces as they mend themselves.
So you become the adult that you need for the child that you still are.
You tell yourself that you will always be there for you, that you will never give up on you.
Believing in yourself is not a choice you took but a mark on your skin after years of scattered burns and scars
At least it is easy to deal with the world now, for you no longer hand it your trust.
