i'm proud to announce that after years of sitting on the sidelines...i'm participating in artfight for the first time! it'll probably depend heavily on how my body decides to work with me next month, but i'm planning on giving it an honest shot. still trying to work out a few ref sheets, wish me luck

not really super significant or anything but i ended up making a little personal "cyrus stylization guide" for myself. i always have had a hard time keeping proportions consistent (esp with his hair) so i thought something like this might be helpful to look back at when i lose the plot too much- obv i have my own little style flairs (i tend to try and make him look a bit younger) but i want him to be recognizable at least. my son why do you have to be so difficult </3

surprise surprise a redrawww...this was long overdue

it's crazy to look at how much i've improved and gotten more comfortable in my style over the past couple of months, the original version of this isn't even that old but it was getting really hard to look at it without feeling like i could do way better. i absolutely don't think i'm anywhere near "there" yet (as in where i want to be, i obv still could nitpick the hell out of this), but...it feels good to get a little better. i'm doing my best to be intentional about it

after years of putting it off....i can finally present my headcanon?/au?/rewrite?/idk lineup for the gang :D i actually didn't mean to draw them all initially, it was originally just a cyrus sketch but you can see how that went lol. it felt really nice to get a good reference for them all drawn up after so long, and it should be helpful as i plan to make more art of them 🫶 my precious blorbos

soo i ended up getting back into cookie run last month, i've always adored the series' designs so i just kinda ended up making some ocs as like. an update concept? they're childhood best friends, complete opposites, and potentially lesbian. idk i just think they're neat

hey all, doubt anyone will actually see this but i'm finally coming back to this account after what...7 months? (holy shit?)

so i didn't intend to drop off the face of the earth that long. originally was just taking a bit of a break for the holidays, lots of work, not much motivation...then end of January i started having a shit ton of health complications out of nowhere and have basically been doing my best to survive since then. doctors still don't know exactly what's wrong with me. there's a chance its chronic, i still have some tests to get done and specialists to see...i don't want to get too much into it but i'm fighting with my body most days and it's honestly been hell. haven't been able to go to work since March because of it, either.

all that is to say: with not much else to do but sit around inside and try to distract myself, i've been spending a decent amount of my time away drawing, and i'd like to start posting some of my backlog again. the state of my health has opened my eyes to a lot of things- i realized there are still things i want to do, still things i want to create...i want to be able to put myself out there without fear and take a chance to geniunely pursue the things that make me happy while i still can. i do create art purely for myself, but if my stupid pictures can make even one person smile that's enough for me.
