Huh? Your Chikorita is evolving! Straight up to a Meganium!??

Hey guys! Apologies for the recent inactivity, I’ve been working hard on getting my pokemon crossbreed zine ready for this year AX. It will include these, my chikorita and riolu crossbreeds and 7 more pokemon! It’s almost done and I will post more about it soon, so stay tuned!

Celebrating the airing of Steven Universe Future with some redesigns of the fusions between my gemsona Rubellite and the Crystal Gems!

Bubblegum Tourmaline 2.0 (aka Bubbles): If you watch the first design I made for this fusion, I think you’ll be able to appreciate how much my art has evolved in subjects of simplification, cartoonizarion, body expresiveness and character design in general… BECAUSE I KNOW I DO! I’m also kind of proud of myself because I got the courage to draw a bodytype very different from the previous design (new one’s chubbier, almost like Steven’s), and I’m in love with the result! Her subjects were beach and bubbles, so her hair is curlier, her outfit is more informal, and she probably has some powers related to seafoam! ♥

Bubblegum Tourmaline 1.0: Since I made version 2.0, of course I had to redesign the original one as well!!! I tried to make this version a little bit less princess-like, and more lolita-inspired, which gave some cool results! I specially love the headband/glasses thingy!

Rhodolite: I loved this fusion so much when I made it the first time that I wasn’t planning on changing anything about it! But in the end I chose to give her outfit a subject too, and went with a more rocker style for this badass girl! ♥ I also made her secondary arms chubbier, gave her a good set of eyebrows, and fixed some other proportions-issues!

Taaffeite: I must admit I’ve got a better understanding of Amethyst’s character than when I first made this fusion. So eventhough I LOVED the (kind of) dominatrix subject I had previously used, I decided to make it MUCH wilder this second time around!I found a gemstone named Taaffeite which seemed to fit them perfectly, so I mixed its coloring palette with a “Fishing wild cat” look! A feral child who must really, REALLY love fish! A fun fact about her: Eventhough her “tail” is actually a belt tied to her waist, she can move it at will like an actual cat-tail!
