Undercoat done! Probably going to start painting tomorrow.
I experimented with different ways of affixing the pieces so that I can hold the them.
The wooden skewers were a bit bulky and the glue has trouble sticking to it.
Spare sprue bits worked well, although next time I might just leave some parts attached to the sprue so I don’t have to deal with glue.
The paperclips worked surprisingly well. You can put a little on the end then stick it in a hole. Just don’t put the glue in the hole first or you’ll have to try digging it out later.
The spray can worked well, but I didn’t have a spare clean box so there some stray hairs that got stuck to some pieces. I also really just did one coat, except for one piece that I must’ve gone over a second time. The second coat definitely looks better - I was just worried about losing detail.
