Poster says it all. Come join us for the reception!
98.2% sure this photo was supposed to be oriented in portrait format, but it strikes me as much better as a landscape.
Looms are such a thing of beauty as physical objects.
A moth outside my window one night. Staying still enough was such a struggle.

House-related shots on that roll.
Just got a roll of film developed, and was surprised to see this. The film was something I’d been using over the course of several months (dedicated photographer that I am), and I had completely forgotten about the photos I took when we went cherry blossom watching. That’s one of the things I love about film.
More to come.
Pile of weaving done over the summer (minus the checked one).
Finally finished spinning up this lovely SweetGeorgia merino braid in Summer Skin! The two skeins on the left were done last year or so, on my drop spindles (two beautiful Houndesign Dali laceweight drop spindles, purchased from The Purple Purl), and the two skeins on the right are the more recent ones spun on my new Lendrum. I tried regular old plying (the larger, balanced skein) as well as navajo-plying (the very unbalanced, tightly plied littler skein), where I obviously need a bit more work.
Also this one. I was aiming for herringbone, but it came out chevron. I was using a draft for a chevron pattern though, so I wonder why I expected it to just sort of become what I wanted it to be...? It became a lovely scarf though, with a beautiful subtle pattern. For sale on etsy.

I don’t think I’ve shared this one, but I was playing around with weaving not-plain-weave. More specifically: learning how to read a draft, converting it to rigid heddle loom (double heddle) compatibility, and seeing how it came out. Quite well, I think!
Brand new (old) Leclerc Nilec with champagne cone as warp and weft. So much faster weaving with boat shuttles on this lovely little loom than with my AKL! (I love them both dearly.)
