i don’t think cremation was really a thing in america during the 1870s and realistically it wouldn’t really be possible considering their lifestyle (aka. criminal record) but i think goodrocks should get cremated + have their ashes commingled together when they die. it’s all about what we lost in the fire we find in the ashes and all that

faraday lives au but he can never go back to who he was before. the explosion that should’ve killed him, that should’ve been his final card trick (literally) to the world instead took everything but his life from him. he’s missing limbs and is covered in burns and his charm vaporized in the blast and he can’t hold a gun or his cards anymore. so he has no choice but to rebuild his life brick by brick, because despite it all he was given a second chance.
