This portrait reimagines the ancient goddess of the hunt, Artemis - not as a figure of grandeur, but of restraint, clarity, and deliberate solitude. Artemis chose the bow instead of a crown, the silence of the wild over the noise of courts. She's a goddess bound not by thrones or kingdoms, but by an unbreakable vow of freedom.

This painting reimagines Medusa not as a monster, but as a sentient being caught between vulnerability and power. It explores themes of misunderstood femininity and emotional duality - strength born from pain, intimacy entwined with danger, and the humanity behind mythical fear. Rather than softening her, I aimed to restore Medusa - offering back the beauty that was once weaponized, then erased.
