I have been having such bad dissociative episodes lately.
I can't remember what I did this past week. All I know is I was on vacation.

If your response to someone you don't like doing something is to armchair psychologist diagnose them with something, you are being ableist btw.
Hell in a lot of circumstances, telling someone who's doing something you don't like to get evaluated for something is being ableist.
There is genuine concern, and then there is everything else. This is part of the everything else.
Argue with the wall, you'll get further that way.
Had a good weekend. Went to celebrate Fathers Day with my dad and then went to my bf's family outing for his dad. Overall a very chilled out weekend. Watched some D20 Cloudward Ho! -Avery

I’m begging the system community to actually understand what system terms mean before jumping to conclusions.
1. Reffering to an alter as a “part” is not dehumanising or denying an alters full self, it’s like saying someone is “part” of a group or family.
2. Reffering to an alter as “your” alter doesn’t mean that you own that alter, it’s like saying “my sister” or “my friend”.
Y'all ever know so little about your trauma that you're scared to bring it up to your parents because they might secretly have something to do with it
You're allowed to hate having DID.
Just like any other mental illness, you're allowed to hate having it. If you don't want to view it as a blessing or a beautiful survival mechanism, you don't have to.
You can have mixed feelings. You can feel grateful that it helped you survive and still hate that you're living with it now. You can hate how it makes you feel and what it's done to your life.
You can feel gratitude and love towards your parts/alters and still hate the struggles. You are allowed to have whatever feelings you have about it.
Don't let anyone guilt or shame you about the feelings that you have about your mental illness.
Sometimes, being here is hard. I feel like I shouldn't exist but I do. I feel like I'm not needed or that I'm not real.
But I am needed, it's the reason I exist. I know I need to be here. For them. For us.
