My newest lifting prop.

I did this at a Nordstrom in my mall with 2 levels. Basically, I entered through the top level, pretended to shop around for clothes like a real shopper. 

Then took the escalator downstairs the the bottom level, looked around at shoes, then made my way to the bags section. I picked up the bag I wanted and discreetly wore it on the crook of my arm. Oh, looks like i forgot to mention that I walked in with about 3 or 4 shopping bags on my arm. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!! The shopping bags hide the purse youre lifting! 

This is how I basically concealed the purse. I had 2 shopping bags on each arm, I slipped the purse I wanted onto one of my arms, then slipped one shopping bag onto my other arm. So when I left, it looked like I had 1 shopping bag on one arm and 3 shopping bags on the other. 

Honestly one of my more exciting hauls. I’ve been wanting a Betsy Johnson for so long and I finally got lucky to find one untagged at a very low volume Macy’s a friend used to work at. I went in looking for some wallets to boost but this is honestly so much better

And then of course the bag from Macy’s which was $108!!! It’s so beautiful and honestly a perfect size for lifting. It folded up in my other bag nicely but it’s almost as big as the one I have now. I can see myself using this for Ulta especially…

But for the rest of us they run so counter to our general worldview (we’re fundamentally bad and deserve nothing) that our brain rejects them immediately as lies and uses that moment to remind us of how terrible and abnormal we actually are.
