top 6 characters (aka sad bois and bamf women, which could also be my blog title):

Occtis: he remains blorbo shaped. Just the perfect amount of sad boi with evil tendencies. See my icon for why I might enjoy that.

Hal: I am a Liam O'Brien simp and Hal is a delight.

Julien: he's an asshole and I love him so much.

Thaisha: Love her mama bear instincts. I also love that she's kind of a bad mom. She's complicated and I'm all about that shit.

Wicander: I need people to stop bullying him! I love him! He's a good person and by god is that a breath of fresh air in D&D spaces. I need more people than just Teor and Tyranny to be on Team Wick! Honestly the scene with her grandma? deserved a nat 20.

Thimble: honestly she deserves to stab more people.

Characters I have mixed feelings about (in order):

Azune: baby boy you deserve to be up there with the rest of my sad boi kings! But I'm just not entirely sold on him yet. I do love his daddy issues with Thjazi though.

Murray: I generally feel pretty mid about Marisha characters, so this isn't a surprise to me. I do like Murray but she isn't on my favorites list. I loved her moments with Demodus and her scenes with her students.

Tyranny: I need her to interact with people away from Wic. Her scenes with Kattigan were *chef's kiss*

Bolaire: meh. I did like that Hero called him "Uncle"--that was fun.

Vaelus: another meh. I do like her scenes with Hannan. I am intrigued but not sold.

Teor: boring! give me more Travis Willingham!

Kattigan: probably should be above Teor after the last episode but a lot of times I was feeling like "why are you here, dude?"

top groups:

tied between seekers and schemers. I was HOOKED on their episodes. I fell really behind and had to catch up because I just did not give a shit about the soldier table.

top NPCS:

Ingrid Einfasen: I adore everything about her. I hope she and Julien get married even if they aren't in love just to secure their futures. I would watch a spinoff series about her.

KING GUS: aka king shit. Love him.

Aranessa: I love her. I hope Thjazi is just hanging out in Faerie and they get the doors open again and these two can get closure.

Dr. Talter: "not for the first time Occtis let a woman with a crush on him walk away" your honor I LOVE her

Demodus Blix: Is he annoying? Yeah, but so is Julien, and I love him, so whatever.

Honorable mentions: All of the Fang children. I get joyful when Shadia and Hero show up.

the most important part, the ships I'm noodling over:

Wicander x Occtis: have they interacted? Not really. But in my mind there is a 100k fic where Sundered Houses arrange a wedding between the two of them. House Halovar cannot attack Tachnois without them killing Wic; Tachonis cannot attack Halovar without them killing Occtis. Neither of them want to be a part of this arrangement but they do what they must, and slowly learn how much they have in common.

Thimble x Occtis: she shouldn't age and he will never age again. They are childhood best friends. I hope their epilogue is them having adventures in Faerie for all of time.

Julien x Yes: is it a character? Should Julien kiss them on the mouth? absolutely 100%. I started to list all the characters I ship Julien with and then realized the list was basically endless. He's a bicycle; let him ride. (most important ones: Occtis, Thimble, Aranessa, Azune, King Gus, Ingrid, Thaisha)

Thaisha x Hal: I need more flashbacks to the messy parts of their relationship! Sure they are friends and family now but there had to have been complicated feelings back when Thaisha left, and then Hal got together with Elodie so quickly? I want the mess and the drama!

Bonus ships:

I believe the Sundered Houses are trying to resurrect the gods. OR the gods are trying to come back and manipulating people and objects to do so.
