While I normally slack off on backgrounds... This was a particularly important one because it was meant to be breathtaking and so I put a lot of effort into it. Anything other than humanoid figures requires A LOT of trial and error from me (buildings I lowkey get, but nature? Too wildly irregular for my symmetrical ass) but I'm proud for once.

I'm powering through stuff lately! Already finished #Chapter2 and got to work hard on some meta stuff - finishing writing down detailed chapter descriptions (which I do instead of script bc a script would take up too much time; also, dialogues and actions often change from what I originally planned to fit the flow more naturally when I draw anyway) for the entire Book 5 and two story arcs (not sure when they will appear and they are not in their final version yet) which will either be made into two books or be scattered across several ones.

Of course I can't show you that, but here's something else I worked on - some worldbuilding, namely demographic ethnic percentages of Isuyan people. I had to do a lot of research to decide how to group them, and I'm still unsure if and how to make subgroups in "African", aside from separating the Arab countries to throw them into the Middle Eastern category.

It's pretty scary how little we learn about Africa, how it exists in many people's minds like a country and not a continent... If anyone's willing to help me with figuring it out, I would gladly accept it.

For once, I'm pretty proud of a fight sequence. I don't usually resort to hand-to-hand combat in those since it's pretty difficult for me, but I'm getting better!
