Remember who you are

I'm sure that by 2050 many things will change but everyone has their own predictions. At least I suppose that we won't need to worry about any world conflict by then technology might seem like magic and the world could be caught up in power struggles.

What I'm sure will happen is that something huge will occur in 2030 that changes everything.

It's 50/50 that a major war breaks out.

And what I'm certain won't happen is that something good is on the way in every aspect.

I believe, on a personal level, it shouldn't just be a request, recommendation, or opinion. Quite often, it stems from the wrong words at critical moments, just out of self-compassion.

In my view, it should be a universal rule in our society. If the world saw the humor in its own mistakes instead of pointing fingers at others, it would shake up how we act big time. After all, constant thoughts shape actions, actions build habits, habits spark change, and real change is evolution itself food for thought, right?

I dream of one day being in the Himalayas and Karakorum. More generally, they are found in Nepal and Pakistan.

It's more than obvious that I'm not going to those countries to see their culture or as a regular tourist. In fact, I'm going to their famous borders, the 14 eight-thousanders, where there are incredible mountain peaks. Among them, the most famous ones stand out: Everest, K2, Lhotse, Makalu, and Gasherbrum.

In my opinion, regarding culture, there isn't just one in that region because people come from so many parts of the world. It's a super diversity of cultures all in one place, and that's the best part. You are not alone with your own people, but with folks from places you haven't been to yet. In my view, working together with them is what makes it amazing. As long as you don't die, jajaja!

Besides, you won't have much time to hang out at least a month if the weather allows it, or even longer otherwise.

Who among us would not have dreamed of driving a tank, flying a fighter jet, or handling an armored truck? Some people might say that the military world could be a sacrifice of your own person, because you might lose your life, suffer trauma, or simply face extreme processes and results. However, since I was a child, I have always admired those soldiers on television, the combat planes, and the tanks of war. Without doubt, this has always been my dream job.

You may call me crazy, but to aspire to the best of the best and to test your inner strength would be a great pleasure and honor for me. Of course, it would not be easy; the difficulty of such a path must be accepted. Still, one should not think that I would want to be just a simple soldier. If I enlisted, I would rather be in special forces, a pilot of an F-35 fighter, or even a general. What did you think? That I would be cannon fodder?

I used to enjoy things much more five years ago. It may sound like a joke, but it is true. I would go out to play with my neighbors in the street, I would also spend time with my family, and in fact, I did not even have a phone. I would wake up early just to watch my favorite cartoon, have breakfast, and then go to school. Later, I would ride my bike around the neighborhood and finally go to sleep peacefully.

My dream was to serve in the special forces of my nation and honor it. Unfortunately, throughout those five years, things changed for the worse, surely because of certain problems that became the cause of losing interest in the things I once enjoyed. The results are clear: only the lessons remain, and one must never give up.

Not long ago, I had the opportunity to climb a mountain, and I truly believed it would be easy. However, I was completely wrong. Reaching the summit taught me to respect the mountain and never underestimate it, because your life depends on that. Moreover, the mountain is not for everyone it is a challenge against yourself, both mentally and physically. The path is devastating, but that is what makes it the best. Only in moments when your life depends on your decisions do you truly value it.

From that day on, my life changed, and I never saw it the same way again.

Usually, I don’t have enough time to rest and yet I still have to make an effort to meet other people’s expectations.

And maybe that’s why I don’t like being around others—or whatever the reason may be. Haven’t you ever felt like you just want to be alone at least once, without having to worry about anything? Well, it’s hard to keep a good face when you know everything is falling apart inside, but everything has its own grace and purpose.

It’s fine up to a certain point. I always try to listen to music or at least move, draw, run, sing, among many other things. That at least gives you a certain compassion for yourself, even though deep down you know it isn’t true.
