All good things...
As a lot of you might realize from the content of some of our posts lately, we are graduating this month! We couldn't be more excited to finally be doctors and start our careers in post-docs in the fall. Grad school has truly been an incredible journey. There were highs and lows, we were at our best and at our worst. Running this site got us through some of the not so fun parts - the late nights, the long hours, the difficult cases, the seemingly constant anxiety, the let-me-question-all-of-my-life-decisions-that-led-me-here moments. It helped us laugh at ourselves and remind us (and hopefully all of you, too) why we're doing this, why it's been so worth it, and why we can't imagine having taken any other path. This site has also helped us personally make sense of so many of the social injustices that have occurred during the past five years.
As we shift from students to real-life psychologists, we realize that it's become more difficult to prioritize the site. There are days now where we don't even go on our laptops at home (we couldn't have ever imagined that as a possibility a few years ago!). Plus, without the stresses of grad school to inspire us, what's there to post? So, while we are so sad to say goodbye, we are officially retiring CBGS. Thanks to everyone for reading, liking, reposting, submitting, and being part of this with us. We really couldn't have and wouldn't have maintained this site if it weren't for you! Thank you!! <3
