      “ Didn’t one of them shoot at you,    too?   Fucking assholes... ”

                      Lucky was speaking,    of course,    in reference to a couple of inkling boys that had been following her around in Turf ;    asking for her NUMBER or being annoyed she paid Cottage attention instead of them.    Unfortunately for them,    the greenette was a live - wire and she DID NOT play.    If you pissed her off,    it’s game over.     

         “  I wont chime, I’ll scream from the roof tops  I DONT. HAVE ONE.”

        “ Woahhhhhh,     ok.    Yeah.   That’s some serious denial you have there. ”

                She’s just gonna smirk again,    leaning dangerously close to Cottage with her hands behind her back.

       “ What’s so bad about admitting you have a type?     We all know it,    I think you do too.”

          “ As close as these other versions of you might get,     they’ll never BE you.     Not exactly.     You found me,    Cottage. ”

                    She’s going to gently lean into Cottage’s side,     grinning up at her with half lidded golden eyes,     plush held tight against her chest.     

         “ There were a million,    zillion other timelines and you were the one that stumbled on mine.    I don’t thing every iteration of you has a Lucky.    And even if they do..... ” 

  “Oh you know, cool aunt, all that. Shall I draft up a resume?”

       “ Cool aunt,   huh?   That is sorta compelling... ”    

              A pause as she’d snap her fingers,   a grin tugged at her face.
