My story!

Imarried Huda on June 22nd. I was very happy with her. I photograph humanitarian issues for the world. The war started and we were exposed to a deadly attack that we miraculously survived.

We became homeless, without food or drink. My wife was crying. I set up my tent for the first time after displacement on November 1st. We sought refuge with all the relief organizations, but no one helped me. We are now awaiting the birth of our first child after a long wait. Huda is pregnant... I tried to search for safety by any means, for me, my wife Huda, and our eagerly awaiting son, Malek! 😭

We were surprised by the new displacement and the terrifying sight of the bombing. We lost everything we owned for the second time, we took refuge in Rafah, I tried in every way to provide healthy food for my wife and our expectant child, but we were surprised for the third time by a major attack that made us leave without any food or shelter, Huda is eight months pregnant and we were displaced for the fifth time, this time is the worst, Huda and I stayed for five days sleeping on the burning sand of the sea. We did not taste food for five days, 💔

The date of birth of our first child, Malek, came, while we were preparing our tent to receive him, the place next door was bombed. Huda saw the remains, she lost consciousness, Dr. Ghassan requested an emergency delivery, Malek, our first child, died, I cried bitterly, and she entered a state of blood poisoning. Israeli military evacuation orders have been issued multiple times throughout August 2025. These orders have forced tens of thousands of Palestinians to repeatedly relocate amid intensified military operations and severe humanitarian conditions.

We are now forced to evacuate from Gaza to the south and we need a lot of money to move our things.  We need 1000$ for the car and 1000$ for the rent of piece of land to put our tents on and we need another 1000$ to buy new tents that not preventing us from summer or winter.

Please guys do your best to share my story. We are here starving and dying slowly we need your help. Every 3 months they create a new thing to kill us or to make us suffering more and more. You are my only hope please continue you donation and sharing don't stop because you are my voice and my kids.

My name is Shada Kassab, and I am a 24-year-old mother living in Gaza. Every day is a fight for survival for me, my husband Hussein, and our baby boy Adam, who is just five months old.

My home was destroyed and my husband lost his work as a driver. He had a water truck and used it to spread water to people in need, but it was destroyed alongside my home. I have evacuated many times. The first evacuation was at Deir el balah and I stayed there for more than 4 months. And now I've evacuated again to Anusirat camp and I don't know where could be the next evacuation.

Dionysus in the bad written fanfic that is The Court of the Dead :

In The Titan's Curse, when Percy sets off on Blackjack to unlawfully join the quest, and he faces Mr. D, or when Dionysius questions him once again at the end, and Percy does too. Or in the Battle of The Labyrinth when Mr. D is so solemnly telling Percy about his dead son. All of those three times, Percy defys him or talks back to him, and still, Dionysius is treated with a kind of reverence that is long gone now from the books. You still got that thrill of anxiety every time Percy answered back, the fear Mr. D might smight him at the next wrong word, even if Percy talked so impertinently.

Nico’s crush on Percy is a respected part of his character and development. Rachel’s crush on Percy is considered a poor plot point and treated like some mortal sin.

I understand there are nuances to this, but at the end of the day, they both fell for the same dude. Rachel’s feelings actually make so much more sense because she spent the whole summer with him, while Nico never really got to be friends with him.
