You are the unchanging Awareness in which all activity takes place. To deny this is to suffer, to know this is Freedom.

You retain your health only so long as you are willing to forgive your stresses, shrug off adversity and adapt to new situations. Resistance to change always impedes the workings of your immunity.

When I look at my life and its secret colors, I feel like bursting into tears. Like that sky. It’s rain and sun both, noon and midnight. … I think of the lips I’ve kissed, and of the wretched child I was, and of the madness of life and the ambition that sometimes carries me away. I’m all those things at once. I’m sure there are times when you wouldn’t even recognize me. Extreme in misery, excessive in happiness—I can’t say it.

See ALL experience for what it actually IS: A ceaseless blur of change, a dynamic display of living organic energy unfolding and flowering within itself to itself, all of it simply passing through Awareness like clouds through an empty sky, like images reflected in a spotless mirror, like flickering light flowing across the perfectly white surface of a movie screen, like the moon within the pristine surface of a still and silent pond. Experience—all experience, even the subset of experiences you unconsciously claim as “me”—is merely and completely a kaleidoscopic overlay, a superimposition of transformation onto/within the Space of Awareness. But don’t take my word for it. Look for yourself. Look for real. Don’t think: LOOK. Keep looking until you see it. But be warned: seeing it will change everything.

We often forget that WE ARE NATURE. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we’ve lost our connection to ourselves.

You can’t worship a spirit in spirit, unless you do it now. Wallowing in the past may be good literature. As wisdom, it’s hopeless. Time regained is paradise lost, and time lost is paradise regained. Let the dead bury their dead. If you want to live at every moment as it presents itself, you’ve got to die to every other moment.
