          “  oh  my  god  ,  ”  lets  out  a  fit  of  laughter  .  “  so  someone  says  i  got  my  ass  insured  .  i  can’t  believe  it  !  i’ve  got  to  stop  finding  out  things  like  this  about  myself  .  do  i  look  like  a  kardashian  ?  ”  she’ll  dramatically  sigh  before  looking  over  to  [  your  muse  ]  and  takes  a  sip  of  her  coffee  .  “  i  don’t  know  what’s  up  with  the  gossip  blog  but  they’re  really  starting  off  the  year  with  an  agenda  .  ”

they   weren't   a   couple   anymore   so   there   was   no   reason   for   the   blonde   to   stay   in   bed   with   him   .   it's   not   like   one   night   together   would   erase   everything   they'd   lived   through   the   last   few   months   .   when   she   asked   luke   for   a   truce   ,   that   wasn't   what   the   blonde   had   in   mind   .   natasha   thought   the   truce   would   just   be   a   way   for   them   to   have   some   kind   of   closure   to   their   relationship   and   move   on   with   their   lives   .   she   didn't   expect   to   go   to   the   coat   room   with   luke   ,   much   less   go   back   to   his   place   after   the   gala   .   the   other's   voice   made   her   shut  her   eyes   ,   turning   off   the   phone's   screen   before   turning   around   to   face   him   .    “   i'm   not   stealing   ,   just   borrowing   .   and   i   figured   i'd   better   leave   before   you   woke   up   ,   i   didn't   want   it   to   be   awkward   or   anything   .   ”

“I’m trying to use this last week before classes start to get a head start on my thesis proposal. So I’m not going to any parties or events or whatever. I will only be stopping for food and the occasional video game break,” Bel stated, going through her papers and folders she had laid out. “And maybe sex if I get too stressed. So unless you’re offering any of those things, I’m afraid I will have to send you on your way.”

feeling   the   morning   light   against   her   face   made   the   blonde   wake   up   ,   feeling   another   body   under   hers   .   eyes   opening   with   difficulty   ,   she   noticed   that   the   other  figure   was   luke   .   she   hoped   last   night   had   just   been   a   nightmare   or   , at   the   very   least   ,   a   wet   dream   ,   but   it   was   real   .   natasha   relapsed   .   sighing   ,   the   blonde   took   his   hand   from   around   her   bare   body   and   got   up   from   the   bed   trying   not   to   make   any   noise   .   natasha   already   knew   that   if   someone  caught   her   leaving   her   ex's   house   it   would    be   enough   material   for   the   gossip   blogs   for   at   least   a   week  ,   but   if   she   was   caught   leaving   his   place   in   her   last   night's   gown   it   would   be   even   worse   .   her   best   alternative   would   be   to   grab   something   from   his   closet   ,   a   prada  button-up   shirt   that   looked   more   like   a   dress   on   her   .   going   back   to   his   bedroom   ,   with   her   valentino   platforms   in   hand   that   she   would   only   put   on   in   the   hall   to   avoid   waking   him   up  ,   typing   on   her   phone   as   she   tried   to   order   a   ride   .

“   did   you   like   it   ?   'cause   if   you   play   your   cards   right   ,   i'll   be   moaning   it   all   night   for   you   ,   ”   she   whispered   ,   biting   homme's   earlobe   ,   a   chuckle   falling   from   her   lips   .   that   was   certainly   not   how   the   blonde   had   expected   her   night   to   go   ,   confident   that   any   feelings   for   her   ex   were   gone   .   but   griding   her   body   against   his   lap   ,   natasha   was   well   aware   that   lust   was   her   vice   .   throwing   her   head   back   ,   one   of   her   hands   pulled   luke's   hair   ,   eyes   rolling  as   she   felt   his   kisses   .   fingertips   finding   his   shirt   as   she   unbuttoned   it   .

lips  parted  ,  making  space  for  words  .  “  i  like  every  sound  you  make  .  ”  breathing  boiling  against  his  ear  ,  allowing  his  eyes  to  close  for  a  moment  .  “   all  night  ?  so  you're  going  home  with  me  ?  ”  tone  entangled  with  a  tease  .  such  an  idea  not  only  blossoming  in  his  thoughts  ,  but  also  sparkling  like  a  shining  light  .  it  tormented  him  to  think  about  her  leaving  with  another  man  .  their  truce  seemed  to  hang  on  a  thin  line  .  a  pull  to  one  side  and  it   would  break  .  but  competition  usually  brought  out  the  best  in  him  .  back  when  they  were  an  item  :  every  time  he  suspected  or  heard  about  someone  having  her  attention  ,   even  for  a  short   while  ,  he'd  make  her  pay  .  not  saying  a  word  about  it  ,  but  fulfilling  all  her  desires  .  a  man  couldn't  taste  what  was  his  unless  he  wanted  them  to  .   in  the  end  ,  both  parties  were  happy  .   fingertips  kneaded  into  her  skin  ,  begging  to  pull  her  closer  to  his  starving  form  .   

the   blonde   knew   she   would   regret   it   the   next   morning   ,   but   natasha   also   knew   that   she   didn't   make   the   best   decisions   when   she   was   intoxicated   or   horny   ,   and   right   now   she   was   both   .   the   perfect   recipe   for   disaster   when   she   decided   to   follow   her   ex   boyfriend   to   the   coat   room   .   the   desperation   between   kisses   ,   bumping   against   the   coat   racks   ,   a   chuckle   escapes   against   his   lips   .    “   oh   ,   yeah   ?   i'm   too   proud   to   scream   your   name   .   so   you   ,   my   lord   ,   will   have   to   work   very   hard   for   me   to   make   any   noise   .   ”   bumping   into   the   sofa   ,   a   mischievous   smile   played   on   her   swollen   lips   ,   pushing   luke   against   it   ,   straddling   his   lap   before   pulling   homme   for   one   more   kiss   .

          disgust  immediately  moves  onto  her  features  ,  looking  up  towards  the  other  in  front  of  her.  “  never  ,  and  i  can’t  stress  this  enough  ,  ever  call  yourself  that  again.  ”  her  words  come  out  slowly  ,  nose  wrinkled  to  show  her  lack  of  amusement  with  his  words.  she  even  hesitates  to  take  the  gum  ,  but  she  reaches  up  ,  ripping  her  half  from  his  teeth's  grip.  “  you  disgust  me.  ”  she  states  ,  chewing  on  her  own  half  as  her  eyes  roll  dramatically.

at  this  point  in  the  night,  he  was  tired  of  sitting  down.  he’s  been  sitting  down  for  over  three  hours  already,  and  even  though  the  doctor  told  him  he  should  take  it  easy  for  the  time  being,  he  would  lose  it  if  he  continued  to  stay  in  the  same  place.  getting  himself  up  with  the  leg  not  wrapped  in  a  cast,  nico  hops  on  over  to  where  his  crutches  are  located  against  the  wall.  the  only  problem  is  that  when  grabbing  them  to  try  and  put  them  in  place  for  himself,  he  accidentally  hits  something,  or  more  precisely,  someone,  on  the  stomach  with  one  of  the  crutches.  he  gasps,  bringing  his  hand  over  his  mouth,  clearly  shocked.  “dude,  i’m  so,  so  sorry!”  he  genuinely  apologizes,  using  his  crutches  to  come  closer  to  him.  “fuck,  i’m  so,  so  sorry.  did  i  hit  you  hard?  i  swear  it  was  an  accident.  i’m  like–”  now  he  was  stammering,  not  wanting  to  upset  him  all  because  nico  can  be  clumsy,  “i’m  so  sorry.  i’m  just…  i’m  clumsy  sometimes.  are  you  mad?  sorry!”

never  in  a  million  of  years  he  could  anticipate  such  an  attack  coming  his  path  .  both  hands  and  eyes  distracted  by  the  way  his  tie  was  tightly  planted  around  his  neck  .  it  happened  so  fast  luke  didn't  even  have  a  chance  to  see  what  hit  him  ,  immediately  leaning  forward ,  palm  pressed  against  the  stomach  .  lips  forming  a  thin  line  as  he  swallowed  the  sudden  pain  away  .  eyes  found  themselves  closing  all  the  same  .  “  don't  .  ”  extending  his  other  arm  towards  nicolas  in  an  attempt  to  stop  him  .  “  just  fucking  stay  where  you  are  .  ”  lashes  raising  as  he  tried  to  rebalance  himself  .  as  an  instinctive  response  ,  he  was   capable  to  turn  what  was  supposed  to  be  an  accident  into  a  real  fight  .  but  the  man  was  stammering  and  hobbling  on  crutches  ,  it  was  enough  for  him  .  “   you  say  you're  clumsy  and  they  still  let  you  walk  around  with  crutches  —  you  see  how  you  can  be  a  danger  to  society  ?  ”  a  sigh  escaped  from  his  throat  .  “  i  need  a  chair  .  ”

did   natasha   believe   what   he   said   ?   she   wasn't   sure   ,   her   sense   of   better   judgment   was   long   gone   ,   'cause   if   she   still   had   it   ,   she   sure   as   hell   wouldn't   be   there   with   luke   .   but   she   would   like   to   believe   that   was   a   closed   matter   for   the   former   couple   .   “   good  ,   'cause   if   you   do   ,   i   can   think   about   being   nicer   to   you   .   ”   a  truce   was   all   she   needed   to   finally   move   on   with   her   career   .   she   knew   that   showing   up   at   luke's   party   and   being   spotted   with   him   at   the   gala   would   be   enough   to  start   the   rumors   about   a   possible   reconciliation   ,   with   her   ex   boyfriend   no   longer   talking   about  the   scandal   ,   it   wouldn't   take   long   for   the   blonde   to   go   back   to   the   public's   graces   .    when   they   were   finally   alone   ,   natasha   no   longer   had   to   hold   back   her   desires   .   as   much   as   the   blonde    tried   to   convinced   herself   that   she   hates   him   ,   natasha   missed   his   kisses   .   digits   tried   to   find   his   suit   jacket   ,   taking  it   off   quickly   before   wrapping   her   arms   around   the   back   of   his   neck   .   letting   out   a   low   moan   as   her   tongue  finally   found   his   .

the   relationship   between   natasha   and   lucas   was   hard   to   explain   ,   how   could   she   still   feel   something   for   him   after   everything   that   happened   ?   they   weren't   good   for   each   other   ,   and   yet   ,   his   hands   against   her   skin   felt   right   .   she   knew   that   it   could   all   be   just   a   game   for   him   ,   but   she   didn't   care   ,   after   all   ,   the   two   were   the   same   ,   so   it   wouldn't   take   long   for   her   to   also   find   something   that   would   benefit   her   .   “   from   what   i   remember   you   look   great   down   on   your   knees   ,   ”   she   chuckles   ,   fingertips   sliding   down   his   jaw   .    “   you've   had   your   fun   dragging   my   name   through   the   mud   ,   i've   already   been   cancelled   .   so   let's   drop   this   ,   uh   ?”   she   asked   , softly   .   despite   having   fun   with   their   little   games   ,   what   natasha   went   through   had   been   exhausting   and   stressful   .   the   blonde   was   ready   to   leave   that   story   behind   and   focus   on   rebuilding   her   career   .    “   you   do   ?   well   ,   i'm   right   here   ,   come   get   me   .   ”

feeling   his   body   so   close   to   hers   ,   his   digits   exploring   her   bare   skin   almost   made   natasha   lose   her   composure   ,   almost   .   teeth   sinking   into   her   lips   as   the   blonde   flashes   an   wicked   smile   .    “   do   you   want   me   to   make  you   feel   good   ?   ”  she   asked    ,   voice   coming   out   as   a   moan   against   his   earlobe   .    “   then   beg   for    it   .   or   do   you   think   that   after   everything   you've   done   ,   everything   you've   said   about   me   ,   stroking   my   leg   would   be   enough   for  me   to   fuck   you   ?   ”   even   if   she   wanted   him  ,   natasha   was   too   proud   and  wouldn't   give   in   so   easily   .   “   c’mon   ,   my   lord   ,   beg   for   it   .   ”

         it  wasn’t  a  new  sight  for  luke  ;  being  roommates  ,  there  were  many  times  that  franny  would  storm  into  the  others  room  without  any  hesitation  while  drunk  on  her  own  wine  coolers  ,  wanting  to  rant  on  and  on  about  how  ross  didn’t cheat but was an ugly man.  “  lucas  ,  ”  she  muttered  once  again  ,  voice  lowered  in  a  joking  manner  before  her  smile  lit  up. “ why  thank  you  ,  kind  lord  !  how  ever  will  i  repay  you  ? ”  she  chuckled  ,  taking  a  lengthy  sip  of  the  water  within  the  glass  before  shaking  her  head.  “ no  ,  no  …  juno  and  nate  told  me  no  more  ,  but  that’s  okay  !  i’m  sure  i’ll  be  set  for  a  couple  hours.  ”  she  sighs  ,  leaning  back  in  her  seat  and  lounging  her  legs  out  straight.  “  are  you  enjoying  yourself  ?  ”
