only  half  of  his  sentence  in  is  enough  for  zoya  to  give  him  a  death  stare  ,  palms  rested  on  her  knees  as  she’s  gasping  for  air  ,  cheeks  flushed  .  she  was  never  the  most  athletic  and  considering  the  situation  they’re  in  ,  she  can’t  recall  what  made  her  agree  to  a  workout  .  “  yeah  .  not  bad  at  all  .  my  insides  are  ...  definitely  not  twisted  upside  down  .  ”  lips  pouted  in  a  dramatic  expression  ,  she  finally  took  enough  of  breaths  to  reach  for  a  bottle  of  water  .  “  i  don’t  know  .  what  happens  after  torture  ?  death  meal  for  prisoners  ?  i’d  love  some  pad  thai  .  ”

it’d  never  be  the  case  with  her  –  getting  annoyed  with  whatever  tabloids  would  speak  about  her  .  zoya  often  giving  them  something  to  talk  about  ,  constantly  sneaking  away  or  ruining  important  events  by  letting  herself  get  caught  with  people  that  would  always  leave  a  stain  on  her  relationship  .  known  for  unstable  relationships  ,  constant  hook  ups  ,  drugs  and  most  likely  anything  one  could  think  of  .  yet  a  pregnancy  rumor  was  the  one  that  wouldn’t  sit  with  her  ;  one  thing  having  to  deal  with  annoying  questions  coming  from  everywhere  ,  her  messages  blowing  up  with  friends  asking  if  it’s  true  but  having  to  deal  with  her  father  when  he  finds  out  his  one  and  only  precious  daughter  might  be  knocked  up  and  bringing  more  of  his  attention  to  her  (  of  which  she’s  clearly  tired  )  ,  it  was  something  else  .  “  come  on  ,  you  know  crap  is  the  last  thing  i  give  .  i  just  had  to  block  my  dad  in  my  phone  and  i  might  start  looking  into  tickets  to  alaska  so  he  doesn’t  find  me  when  he  gets  the  news  .  ”  part  of  her  feeling  amusement  when  thinking  about  her  father  losing  every  single  nerve  he  has  in  his  body  ,  at  least  until  the  image  of  aftermatch  hits  her  .  “  plus  ,  i  don’t  know  what  type  of  an  idiot  someone  has  to  be  to  confuse  covid  test  with  pregnancy  test  . ”

both  of  them  were  perfectly  aware  that  all  of  this  arguing  ,  giving  each  other  death  stares  and  leaving  the  room  whenever  the  other  walked  in  for  the  entire  day  only  led  to  exchanging  text  messages  once  the  evening  comes  and  sneaking  into  each  other’s  bedrooms  .  zoya  couldn’t  exactly  explain  the  why’s  of  their  relationship  ,  perhaps  driven  by  the  thrill  of  sneaking  around  because  none  of  them  wants  to  get  caught  making  out  with  someone  the  entire  world  knows  they  hate  .  “  escorted  out  ?  by  who  ?  your  little  security  by  your  car  ,  the  same  one  you  make  sure  watches  your  door  when  i  come  over  ?  i  exchanged  my  pokemon  go  usernames  with  him  .  ”  nose  scrunching  as  her  voice  is  lowered  for  obvious  reasons  .  “  yeah  .  so  massive  .  if  you  don’t  keep  it  down  by  like  ,  a  thousand  ,  your  massive  brain  might  blow  out  and  give  us  a  blood  massacre  .  ”
