Pictomancy Machinist

I've been painting Final Fantasy FFXIV for... almost 4 years now. I believe 2021, (first screen shot was back in Oct 2021, but I was playing in earlier than that.. end of July 2021.... I switched from WoW) back when Praetorium was still a 50 minute movie. Finally I've gotten around to making a little blog to document my progress in the game and in making art about playing the game.

Some stuff will be flash backs, other stuff things I'm currently working on. I like painting, I like machines. As much of a mouthful as Pictomachine or Pictomancy Machinist is, I'm still doing it.

How it all began.

I started watercolour painting during praetorium because it was 50 minutes and I wanted to see how fast I could make a painting. Speed painting is also good practice. I would que as DPS pick a location and quickly sketch something, and then paint it during Prae. I ran a lot of Praetorium because it was moogle tomestones and one of the few that was unlocked for me. Yes, I did make the mistake and call them tombstones...

I think this is one of the first I did. I'll try to organize my files better. It was more about painting and less about documenting. I did have things on twitter, but I deleted my account.

Today my wee niece asked me to work on a Hollow Knight painting for her and this is what I have so far. Not done yet. So you just keep going.
