These are pics of myself, reblogged by a porn blog, with my caption removed, a sexually illicit caption added, and a questionable short link that I do not dare to follow.

The use of my image as above is not something I have consented to. Nor is it something I will ever consent to.

I am not a camgirl. I do not want to fool around with anyone. And I do not wish to communicate with anyone in any sexual way.

There is one other instance to date of a porn blog reblogging my photos in this way, however, I could not find the permalink on their blog. The below screenshot was provided by my friend who first noticed these porn blogs sharing my photos.

Whilst searching through the porn blogs for my own images, I also found images of abuse victims and self-harmers to name but a few groups of people who I am sure did not upload their photos to Tumblr for pornographic purposes. I also, because these blogs tend to be ran by bots, happened across some random photo sets that were neither here nor there. But one that most sticks out, is an image set of a young Asian girl that my mom advised me not to post evidence of.

There is no option to report these posts or these blogs, however, blogs like this can prove to be very harmful. I can only imagine what the girl above or the victims and survivors would think if they realised how their images were being used. And what happens in the future if my baby niece or my boss or any significant other happens across these reblogs and mistakes them as real?

This is something that makes me incredibly uncomfortable and yet it is also something that will likely never be resolved. Nevertheless, I felt a need to make this post. Please share it. Please tell the Tumblr Staff that it’s about time they finally took action. Please….

Here’s what I did.

Hover over the username until you get the little pop up.

(Scratched out porn gifs, which is the red)

Go to report and click that.

Click “This violates Tumblr’s Community Guidelines”. Tumblr will also automatically block them when you select this.

Hit continue.

If they have deleted your captions, like they did on my cosplay photos or like OP, click “Misuse of your identity or work”.

Then go to the bottom and there is:

“Confusion or impersonation”.

It will ask you if it’s you, your brand/organization/company, or someone else. If it’s your photos, click you.

Then you get this screen.

What I did was past the url of the posts they reblogged from me and put it in the explain box, but it could also be put in the url space, and basically explained to Tumblr what they did.

Mastermind is an impatient man.  Why else would he make the decision to have his dynamo do much of the work?  It left him more time to work on the more important things.  Like his research and stealing chocolate from the fridge when no one is looking.  

He was in the middle of glossing through his readings when he realized he hasn’t seen Apocalypse all day.  The cat cube liked to wander around the place to “assess” if anything was important for the sake of research, even if its idea of important didn’t match his.  While he enjoyed its efforts, it was cumbersome and he thought about fixing that error, although he wasn’t getting very far if he couldn’t even look at said cat cube for another examination in attempt to find a solution.  

The scientist took a sip from his coffee mug and drawled out, “Apo-”  Spoken too soon, he inhaled some of the coffee and gagged on it, hugging his stomach and trying to clear his throat.  

His vision blurred when he saw two shadows appearing at his door.  Apocalypse floated at his door and meowed in happiness at its master calling for it and approached the scientist with a smile.  While he was relieved to see that his invention was quick to pick up his command, he stared at the second guest with confusion and some disgust.  

“Yes, Mr. Ancient?”  Apostasia leaned at the door frame with a bored expression on this face.  

“What are you doing here?” Mastermind hissed in between coughs.  Ugh, he was going to feel disgusting after this.  

“You called me,” Apostasia said simply.  

“I meant my cube, not you.” The scientist groaned with the angel giving him a shrug.  Mastermind cursed at how similar their names were.  Why did the angel choose that title?  Weren’t there any other options when Apocalypse was here first?  Mastermind huffed at the inconvenience, “Well, since you’re here, can you get me another mug of coffee?” He looked at the empty mug with annoyance, but Apostasia didn’t share that same sentiment.

“I’m not your servant, Mr. Ancient.” The asshole replied, “Why don’t you tell that to Mr. Demon?”

Mastermind opened his mouth to curse at the angel, but was left tongue tied when he saw Apocalypse hovering close to Apostasia with friendliness.  Betrayal was all he could think of when Apocalypse greeted Apostasia with cheer.  Reminder to reprogram Apocalypse to stop doing that, Mastermind thought with pettiness, but much of that disappeared when Apostasia smirked at his discomfort.  

“Did you forget to talk?”
