Fazia um tempo que seu shuffle trocava de músicas tristes apenas para tocar You’re The One That I Want; fazia Florence se lembrar do último momento plenamente alegre que teve antes de receber a notícia que a abalou mais do que deveria. E naquela tarde não era diferente. No fone de ouvido a música de Grease retumbava, e ela não se importava muito se daqui 20 anos ficaria surda, era aquele seu jeito de entrar em outra dimensão com a melodia.

Aquele foi definitivamente um dia impossível de se concentrar, portanto a inglesa decidiu pular suas atividades da tarde para relaxar e fazer outras coisas que a distraíssem efetivamente. Como nunca tinha nada muito interessante para fazer, simplesmente saiu para caminhar até que encontrasse um ponto que a chamasse a atenção para parar. 

Diferente do que ela imaginou que a prenderia, como um café com conexão wifi ou algo do tipo, acabou chegando em uma pista de skate perto do centro de Incheon. Esportes radicais nunca foram seu forte e Florence preferia ficar em sua zona de conforto, mas alguma coisa depois de todos aqueles momentos ruins fizeram a menina querer experimentar sensações diferentes que pudessem, talvez, se sobreporem aos sentimentos que a machucavam profundamente. 

Naquele dia, depois de passar horas procurando algo para fazer em casa, Soojung decidiu ignorar o machucado no joelho, devido ao tombo do último dia, e pegou seu skate de manobras. Desceu as escadas de seu prédio apressada e, assim que abriu as portas do saguão e sentiu o ar frio bater em seu rosto, deslizou o skate no chão, pulando em cima do mesmo logo em seguida.

Andar pelas ruas, competindo espaço com os carros que passavam, sempre a deixavam mais animada. Ela podia sentir aquele gostinho da adrenalina que sempre aparecia quando estava fazendo algo perigoso, nesses momentos ignorava todos os alertas que seu corpo mandava e buscava por mais. Porém, naquele dia, ela não pretendia fazer nada muito arriscado, só queria poder dar algumas voltas na rampa e se distrair. Tinha prometido para os pais que iria se manter longe do perigo por um tempinho. Assim, passou o resto da tarde no meio dos outros skatistas sem perceber as pessoas ao redor.
