I was inspired by the prompt "fluffy art with a miniaturized Barclay or a giant Spot while sleeping or cuddled together" <3 I imagine that Reg's been stressed by something happening in real life, so he does some positive daydreaming! Or maybe it's a de-stressing holoprogram? I wouldn't be surprised, knowing Reg!

he has this line where someone’s trying to placate him by saying he’s “just nervous” on the job. and he says with this really great exasperated, trying-very-hard face, “I know I’m nervous, everyone knows I’m nervous”

and it’s like yes, that is exactly how it feels

you’re in the workplace and you’ve been trying to make a good impression but as soon as you mess up and show everyone how nervous you are they will know that forever

which of course makes you even more nervous but by then it’s all over because you’re positive that you’re the “nervous” one in their heads already and you’re stuck that way forever
