Peter didn’t always think he was going to end up in a big city like New York City, he was originally from a small town in Texas and was transferred to the big city only a few weeks after his training ended. This year was his tenth anniversary both with the department and his arrival in the city he now calls home. Since moving here, he wouldn’t ever want to go back to Texas or anything other than a roaring city. He was happy to be in this city, although more than happy to not be out there alone. His childhood best friend decided to come out and the two of them rented an apartment for almost six years before his best friend Clark moved in this his serious girlfriend who soon after became his fiancee. Peter now lives with his dog and his eight-year-old daughter, which a lot of people don’t expect, mainly because she wasn’t his biological daughter.
A few years ago, he and his team were called out to an apartment that caught fire and he found two little blonde four-year-olds under a twin bed terrified. He and his partner quickly got them out from under the bed and guided them to safety before continuing their search. At the end of the night, he was with both the little girl and her brother while they waited for the proper team to take care of them. A few days later, he was at the hospital, and suddenly he felt something wrap around his leg. He looked down and saw the little blonde hugging him. He smiled and leaned down and said a few words to her before standing up and being faced with the social services representative. He was informed that her mother had passed away from the fire. Peter didn’t know what came over him, though it was in that moment he applied to be her foster parent. The next four years were a great challenge because he was learning to be a parent along with searching for his daughter’s twin brother who was somewhere out there being fostered.
■ WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON? ■
Peter is a good citizen who loves the city he now calls home. Throughout his time in New York, he’s definitely heard about the Royals though he’s never been in contact, he’s mostly seen the aftermath of their doing. His team has been called out a few times to various sites, where it was clear the fire was a result from a small level explosion that wasn’t big enough to affect the whole city, though big enough to either send a message or kill the certain people they were hoping to reach.
■ KEEP THIS AWAY FROM YOUR ENEMIES ■
A few years ago, his stations was called to a fire emergency. They responded a car on fire from a collision caused by a drunk college kid with a case and a half of empty beer cans in his front seat. During the time it took to respond to the other car, the cans in the first car were gone. He soon learned that the drunk kid was the son of a really dangerous and dirty cop. He wasn’t going to change what he saw in the report despite his connections saying it was a dangerous move. During that time, he was threatened that he should retract his statement, people close to him suddenly started getting into trouble with the law over the smallest things, like an overdrawn parking ticket. It was driving Peter crazy. He was starting to get frustrated and wondered if he should take matters into his own hands. His friend Nicholas Garcia helped him see the other side, and his testimony was able to get that prick locked up for 5 years. Now that prick, Lucas Lorgan is out of prison and wonders if he’ll ever run into him again.
■ Lauren Davies: Lauren was his neighbour and now one of his best friends. She also has a demanding job although her hours are a little less hectic as his. He appreciates her friendship more than others since she’s always been there to help whenever he needs a babysitter of when he panics over something Sam related, or when really just needs a beer after a long day.
■ Walter Lorcan: The detective whose son was driving drunk and caused a fatal accident. Peter hasn’t seen much of Lorcan since his son was sent to prison, not long before Walter was sent himself.
