A SMALL CHUCKLE escapes past his lips despite his attempts to hold it back, the other’s attitude seeming to always make him grin. maybe he was just entertained by sarcasm or intense grouchiness, but whatever it was, it provided him ·e n d l e s s ·entertainment, and he wouldn’t deny it if he’d had moments where he purposefully tried to provoke his room mate.·“i’ll just sell off your furniture in that case. you seem keen enough with those thoughts. maybe you could do well in a jungle,” he responds with a half grin as he walks quite normally towards some of the cleaning supplies he had out, ready to tackle dusting some of the taller things around their place.·“i’ll put our furniture back once i finish cleaning. its over due and i’m starting to sneeze every time i walk in because of how dusty some places are.”

WHEN THEY’D ASKED her if she’d be able to carry the new stock of plants in the store, hana had refused any help and assured them she’d be fine. although she hadn’t thought the box was going to be this full and hana had once again forgotten that she wasn’t very tall and could barely see where she was going because of said box in her hands. hearing footsteps not too far from her, hana paused and turned to face the direction although it didn’t really help her in identifying who it was but the last thing she wanted to do was crash into someone outside of the flower shop and possibly hurt the plants - some would argue that plants could be hurt but they were living creatures and she believed they had feelings. “excuse me, could you please help me carry these inside? i didn’t realize how heavy or tall these would be.”
IT WAS JUST LIKE ANY OTHER DAY and he had just finished running the errands he’d put off for weeks now. it was no secret that he was in a rush to get back home, hurried footsteps inching him closer to absolutely nothing important. the only thing left in today’s schedule was a nap, but his exhaustion paired with his lack of desire to be social to make it so that this short period of rest was all his mind could manage to focus on. suddenly, he’s caught off guard by a soft voice, and he stops dead in his tracks to engage in possibly unwanted conversation. “ oh - yeah.. yeah, of course, “ he answers, taking as many of the boxes into his own arms in hopes to ease the load on the much smaller girl. “ ooh.. plants ?? i love plants. i have a few of my own. did you know they like to be spoken to ?? “
SLIDING ACROSS THE floor of his living room in his socks, he lets out a laugh as he crashes into a wall, his arms barely catching him from going face first into it. thankfully, most of his stuff was piled into the one other separate room he had in the apartment; his bedroom a mess of furniture and medical textbooks as he attempts to do some deep spring ( late summer) cleaning. “maybe i should live with no furniture. this place seems so much bigger right now,” noah mumbles loud enough to be heard by the other currently helping him out. he wasn’t a messy person, in fact, most people always told him he was almost too organized. but, he was guilty of being lax when it comes to dusting and moping the floors. which is what brought us to this day; the great purge.
A LOUD THUD yanks him out of his automated morning routine, and it isn’t until this moment that he’s made aware of how often he gets by day to day just going through the motions. his reaction should have been to immediately rush out of his room to check if noah was okay, and he knows that, but instead, he mindlessly walks around for a moment, taking hold of the half-finished bowl of cereal that’d been sitting atop his nightstand. finally, he makes his way through the door and into the living room, slightly taken aback by the other boy’s energy so early in the morning. “ yeah, that sounds like a great idea. furniture is overrated. who needs a place to sleep or sit or eat, anyway ?? let’s sell our apartment while we’re at it. we can live the rest of our lives in the jungle, instead. soaking up the sun and constantly going swimming until we both inevitably lose our minds and try to eat one another for breakfast. “ he pauses and stares at him for a moment, his expression blank as he begins to walk on towards the sink. “ please put our furniture back. “

okAY so i don’t have any basics about hometown, family life, etc. made out for him yet because i was admittedly hoping to share a sibling plot with someone … hint hint wink wink nudge nudge … please hmu if anyone would like an annoying emo little brother/older brother/twin brother/just any brother BUT here’s what i can tell u:
he’s 20
he’s an aquarius
he had issues with controlling his temper growing up until he turned about 17-18. his anger usually ended in self-destructive behavior, although other times in him just being generally destructive
he became self-aware and worked towards getting help
he’s much better now. he’s actually almost always completely chilled out/indifferent to everything and he appears emotionless to most. he probably acts like this because he thinks it’s the best way to prevent possible outbursts in the future
his friends probably at his facade but he doesn’t break. it’s literally so hard to ever get anything out of him
he’s extremely reserved, he refuses to let anyone know anything too personal about him. kind of like a If I Tell You I Have To Obliterate You kind of thing. who does he think he is. batman ? smfh
he has a cat who’s like his best friend. he also loves his plants. they’re like his kids
he’s very wise. gives good advice. tries to be there for everybody
very weird and quirky.. not in an ii LiiKe Piieee XD kind of way but also kind of like that
very distant. has a habit of randomly disappearing on people for moments at a time. i imagine this can get very frustrating but hey
not the most social person. it’s probably a hassle to get him out of the house
if he’s comfortable with you he can be quite The Conversationalist though … other times i imagine he’s like talking to a bag of rocks
