TW : bullying, accident, disability, 

haesung was a delinquent in high school, was violent, etc he wasn’t the typical ones tho since he only beat up people who came for his friends and stuff, he didn’t bully anyone. but you got him angry and he’d turn into a demon

when he was 19 he got into an accident which caused him to lose sight in his left eye. he had to do some rehabilitation in order to be able to function like ‘normal’ ; pretty much learned to gauge distances, etc in a new way. tho his right eyesight started to deteriorate so when he was 21 he had to have a surgery to replace his left eye with a prosthetic one. with work he is now able to function like everyone else although he sometimes does have slight difficulty with distances and needs to take more time than most people to gauge them.  ( if any of you are uncomfortable with the way i rp him pls tell me as this is my first time rping someone with a disability, i just based him on one of the characters of nanohana boys which lived this exact thing. if you notice some things that aren’t truthful please do educate me on the matter but since his rehabilitation was successful i shouldn’t point out his disability every second as he is somewhat already used to seeing with just one eye. thank you in advance tho ! comments and advises are also welcome!  )

after the accident he got his shit together  (he didn’t know what to do with his life before then and just caused trouble) and realized he loved cooking for his friends, etc so he went to cooking school. 

he got bullied by some assholes  but most people were nice and tried to accommodate him.

his family is slightly above average $$ wise, his grandmother owned a small bakery and when he finished his course, she gifted it to him. that’s how he ended up being the owner and patissier of the bakery. he’s been the owner for a year now and has hired multiple delinquents he was friends with and ones that are still students in order to help them get on the right track.

personality wise, he’s super blunt, will tell you how it is and won’t sugarcoat his words. he’s caring; the type to see a cat in the rain and bring it home. he was a delinquent for so long as he is a bit rough around the edges and you might see some glimpses of his past self from time to time.  a bit of a ‘tsundere’ (idk how else to describe this tbh lol) ..will say ‘mean’ words but will take care of you lol. he can also be quite emotional at times.

aiight let’s delve into her backstory

naeun has a mom, dad, three older bros nd a twin ( what Big fam ikr ) altho her relationship w her twin sister is complicated she gets along super well w her brothers. 

naeun nd her twin ? think the moon nd the sun. they are complete opposites nd ppl always remind her of that. naeun is introverted, guarded nd a loner meanwhile her sister is extroverted, friendly nd p much the Life of the party. 

she loves her twin but she also developed inferiority complex so its messy™ her fam always treated her as one of the bois meanwhile her sis was the lil princess, the apple of their eye. her mom is a photographer nd spent most of her time building albums nd albums of photos of her sis while naeun prolly only has one lmao so she always felt like there was smth wrong w her ? like why do they lov my twin nd not me even tho we are twins ? 

it didn’t take long for her to trade her time outside for time indoors. instead of hearing ppl fuzzing bout her sis 24/7 surfing the web became her new hobby. by being online she no longer was her twin’s sister, she was her own person nd she Loved it

as she delved deeper she discovered the world of coding nd boi did she get hooked. wtvr free time she had she’d spend it programming stuff nd what got her started on hacking was the thrill of the adventure. it was bout testing how far she could go without being caught.

anyHow things got mssy when she was in highschool bc bois would come up to her hoping that she would set them up w her sis or give them her number. but there was one guy who managed to slip into her heart nd she helped him out with wtvr he wanted ( hacking security cameras, changing his grades ) but it turned out that not only was he using her for tech skils but was also cheating on her .... jikes ! ... lettuce say naeun didn’t handle it that well nd made sure to ruin his life on social media so dnt piss her off :)))

time skip to now ig ? she graduated w a bachelors degree on cyber security nd works at a bank as a security analyst baso she detects & prevents any cyber threats. she’s p much a hermit nd has 0 cooking abilities so she lives out of instant food

personality wise !

ok so her parents weren’t happy with her grades so they yelled at her and told her she was a waste of space if she didnt graduate with a decent gpa to go to college??? ://

flash forward at 16yo jiae hung out with friends going to clubs in gwangju & underage drinking & stuff yknow what kids do 

her grades were still a mess & her parents said p nasty things yikes

and THEN! 

jiae was caught kissing one of her female friends with the excuse of experimenting jsjs even tho she knew she liked girls too  (hi plot!!!!!)

so her entire high school found out?? 

and being from a small neighborhood wasnt great cause everyone knew everyone and someone told her parents damnnnn

and they didnt approve lmao rip

u can guess most of their reaction lol it wasnt pretty and jiae was v hurt about it ://

it didnt help that she pulled a prank gone wrong on the school breaking into the teacher’s lounge to make a fire and burn some documents 

she wasnt supposed to be caught but luck wasnt on her side cause she was betrayed  by a friend  (hi plot!!!!!!)

she managed to not get involved with the law omg cause her stunt wasnt easy nor cheap lmao jiae rip

so she was expelled and that was it

girlie then ran away from home cause she couldnt take her parents being mad at her, not accepting her, telling her she was useless etc

so she ended up stumbling into jinhae 

and!! stayed until she turned 18 working part time jobs and all 

currently she’s a tattoo artist cause she’s always liked drawing so her sketches are pretty bomb and she’s good at inkling 

has a few tattoos herself and rly likes it so if ur muse wants one she’s ur gal

she might even get u one cheaper if she likes u!!

-this little bean is a little too passionate police officer and just likes to get herself into trouble 

-regarding her background, ahri  is the second child out of three children. she has an older sibling (if anyone wants a dumb sibling message me) and a younger sibling

-her family is  neither poor nor rich, her mother works in a small restaurant and her father is an independent journalist.  her parents never really payed much attention to her and gave all their attention to her older and younger sibling. often she would wear her older sibling’s old clothes ( but well at least they were comfortable ? )

- though she knew that her parents preferred her siblings, she never really acted up? she was just accepting it and tried to get their attention with good grades , but well even that didn’t work but she was glad that at least she had more freedom because her parents were like constantly focusing on her siblings.

-so in the second year of high school her life took a dramatic turn. ahri got pregnant and of course her parents weren’t very happy about it and ahri as well. they didn’t have money to raise another kid and ahri  wasn’t ready to raise a child. nevertheless, she decided to keep it.

-it was a very difficult time for them and , her father was a rather unknown journalist back then which meant they struggled with money.  that’s why her dad was constantly looking for new stories to push his career and actually one day he found a interesting story which also could actually ruin someone’s life. this story was about a scandal happening at a big and well-known company in korea and if he published that story they would be ruined. that’s why her father tried to blackmail them  (his family didn’t know) and demanded a huge amount of money. however, the head of the company refused to give him the money and tried to get rid off this problem with a different approach. ( we all know what i’m talking about)

-so one day ahri, her father and her younger sibling took a ride home. this day ahri had finally convinced her family to keep the child and the day was just going well.  but of course after some peace something had to happen (blame me). 

-while they were getting back, they noticed a car following them and her father immediately knew what it was about. still, he couldn’t escape and a huge car “accident” (we all know it wasn’t an accident) happened. her younger sibling died before he got to the hospital and her father and ahri were badly injured. although ahri survived her unborn baby didn’t.

-since then everything seemed to go downhill. her parents couldn’t deal with the loss of their child and ahri was just angry. angry about the loss of her unborn child and her younger sibling, that her father ruined everything due to his greed and that the company got away without any damage, just because they had the money and connections.

-her grades started to drop because she was was obsessed for revenge and of course her social life suffered as well and one day she just snapped.

-she had this very twisted idea that she needed some revenge, she wanted to take something from that person (the ceo) , she just wanted to hurt him. but she couldn’t do anything, that’s why she wanted to become a police officer, to investigate on this case again and at least have the opportunity to do something

-so she moved away and although she still loves her family, she’s on bad terms with her father because she blames him for everything. 

now to her personality:

-ahri is a very dedicated person, basically that someone who would rather skip sleep for three days instead of not doing well? she might seem a little detached at times, but actually she’s one soft-hearted and awkward dork who is just overwhelmed by life? she’s a huge cry baby but acts as if she isn’t and seriously takes everything to heart (but well she’s trying to be cool). she might be a little blunt but (she doesn’t realise it) and just pours her heart into everything. she’s like the biggest pushover when it comes to her friends and will always blame herself and feels like she doesn’t deserve them. she also likes picking up trash in the middle of the night, because she’s really into the protecting environment kind of thing. at times she can be a goody two shoes, because she really hates injustice and just tries to make the world a better world and sometimes she takes this justice thing a little too serious. actually  she’s just a huge dork, who actually irons her socks, is very old-fashioned and still has a flip phone and reads newpaper because she hates changes in her life. but if you hurt her she’ll most likely never forgive you.

i’m too lazy to do anything else to bullet points right now so here is some info about jungyeol. tbh i don’t have everything down about him but he’s a bit inspired from another chara i had in the past so he’ll go from there. he’s a wild card. you'll find more about him as you interact with him...yes.

he graduted not long ago so he hasn't been a speech therapist for THAT long but he loves it

BACKGROUND

his birth name is ye kyu jin, but he was born and grew up in the states, so he has an american name. his mother was and still is obsessed with mythology, so his western name is paris, after the prince of troy. his brother is named hector.

he had a pretty normal childhood up until the time he was five. that’s when his parents started making him audition for things. they lived in l.a., so there were always opportunities to be discovered. they would force him to do auditions for commercials and for tv shows and movies. whenever he lost out on a role to another child, his parents would beat him.

as he grew, he discovered that he had a knack for singing and dancing, so his parents decided to hone in on those talents and began pushing for him to audition to labels around the world. he was finally accepted by one and was brought in to a south korean label based in los angeles. he auditioned for them in front of the recruiter, and all things were going well until the recruiter decided he wanted something a little extra for paris to make it to the next level. his parents had no troubles letting this happen, and it happened a few times before paris finally spoke up and said no. 

he threatened to tell someone who could help him, but the threats were empty because he was too scared to. the company that was going to sign him didn’t know that though, so they dropped him like a hot potato, something that made his parents very upset and they began pushing him to work harder and harder. 

when he was sixteen years old, he had decided he had enough and wanted out. he didn’t want to deal with his parents anymore, so he started the process of emancipation, and a few months later he was officially a legal adult. his older brother was a few years older than him and already living on his own, so he didn’t have to worry about him. 

after becoming emancipated, he got his GED and then got a job so he could start putting himself through college. it was a struggle at first, but with the help of scholarships and online classes, he eventually got his college degree in music education. 

he got a job at a performing arts school when he was twenty and worked there for years up until recently. he had gotten a call telling him that his grandmother passed away and had left everything to him and his brother. everything being money that is. money that he had to move to south korea to claim. so he packed up and moved to jinhae. it wasn't much money, especially because he had to split it with his brother. so he basically just went from being dirt poor in america to dirt poor in south korea lmao

while he was teaching at the performing arts school, he had discovered his love of baking. he’d always been a good baker and chef, but he never got to experiment and do a lot of cooking because his parents were always pushing him to do things, so when he was finally able to do it as much as he wanted to, he discovered how much he loved it. now he works at the krispy kreme bakery 

OTHER FACTS

despite all the shit he went through when he was young, he’s still very sweet and kind and loving 

even though he was sexually abused, he’s still a virgin, and he doesn’t plan on changing that soon or until he finds someone that he trusts. skinship is something he’s still iffy with as well, so he needs to trust someone in order to be able to do that with them as well. 

his past is something that’s very touchy for him, and if you ask the wrong questions he might shut down and get very quiet
